Got down to see the second half at KB today. The snakes were dominant and led 92-26 at one stage in the final quarter. They're as likely as anyone to make the 4 this year. Big game approaching this week out at LaTrobe. Go snakes!

Take nothing away from the last fortnight by Richmond, however Westbourne are missing a good 15 from the seniors.
I know they won't be making excuses, but now is the time to get them.

Saw some of UHS-VU vs AP, Uni High were solid but Albert Park were ordinary, can't fault their endeavour but skills and decision making not up to scratch. Kudos to their full back who was doing a great job on the big Sweeney guy who plays out of the goal square for UHS.

15 from their best 22? That's huge, why so many? All injuries?

Mainly injuries.

They had to forfiet thier thirds yesterday to give you an indication of how many they are missing

Write Old W off at own peril. At best will be a handful, and on a par with anyone. Will be hoping to scramble enough wins across the next period to keep in touch with the top 4.

Damn even looking comp, looks like 3-8 could be pretty interesting. That said both UHS and Power House have pretty good form in not finishing off seasons, but look to have righted that this year.

Yep plenty of injuries TT however completely outplayed by a club clearly better than their ladder position suggests. They came out hard and we got a lesson. As usual enjoyed a beer after the game very welcoming club about the only thing I enjoyed for the day terrible day for Westbourne all round really hated forfeiting apologies to the blokes at the other club that didn't get a game of footy on the weekend.

Powerhouse and UHS both won 7 of their last 8 last year? And Powerhouse have won 13 of their last 14 matches. Starting seasons well is more of an issue for both clubs...

Some ripper games this week

UHS and Powerhouse to go toe to toe to see who is number 1.
Latrobe v Richmond, i rate Latrobe as the 3rd best side but Richmond have found another gear. Last 3 weeks have been very impressive. Big game here.
Canterbury v PC. 2 middle of the pack teams, don't think PC has ever beaten Canterbury and playing away might be a big ask.
WB v Albert PArk. Can Albert Park beat an injury depleted WB? depends how many WB can get back this week?
Swinbourne easily over SM

Does anyone get the feeling Richmond are a far better side than from the first few weeks? Seem to be performing much better.

Obviously we saw them last week I am not sure what you take out of our game but they certainly worked hard for each other had some real impressive run we played you blokes the week before on the two games I think they may be better across the ground than you blokes.I guess the test for them is this week.

Whereas from the times we played both you guys, I would have said you were far superior. Especially up forward. Still pretty hard to get on a read on the season. Plus we are coming into the dreaded winter months where injuries and overseas trips cripple lists.

Central had like 14 new players in the ones in rd 1 this year, as well as 7 or 8 in the twos.

They are starting to click in games which was as they expected.

Two solid wins, and taking it up to UHS the week before - suddenly only a win behind 3rd.

Tips this week
Canterbury by 31
La Trobe by 6
UHS by 21
Swinburne by 55
Westbourne by 29

Depth in the reserves is a strength for RC this year. Reason to believe they can maintain their form reversal, though they have two big asks with Latrobe away this round and Powerhouse the following week. If they can snag either of those they'll be in a decent position at the half way mark. The last time they played at Latrobe the reserves was a draw and the seniors was one point I believe.

UHS v's Powerhouse (UHS by 2 goals in match of the year so far)
Latrobe v's Richmond (Latrobe by 3 goals, will be a great test for Richmond too see where their at)
Canterbury v's PC (Canterbury to strong at home by 3 goals)
WB v's Albert Park (WB by 5 goals depending upon how many WB get back, Ramjets can update us?)
Swinbourne v's South Melb (Swinbourne by 10 goals)

Two out Two back it really doesnt matter every club has injuries have to find a way.
