Good to see a guy from a club with a newly employed mercinary coach enjoys our forum.

How is your new coach from Parkmore going to go and is he going to put in as much money at your club as he did there.

Won a premiership with a bucket load of cash, nicks off takes his best players with him and goes to St KIlda City, its only a matter of time before you run out of cash and fall downs the grades

Nobster refer to earlier posts of mine and that is all I know. No idea in regards to North Kew, however, having a get together next week with both clubs and then training week after. Will have a better grasp of the situation once training starts.

a least we get paid in our league and also people can drink at games not like u cats.
Money gets good players too.

Looks like we've picked up a couple and lost a couple. Still very early days - until we run out on the park in Rd 1 we won't know for sure how we're going to look. Even then, typically the senior team in Rd 1 is a very different side to the one that plays in the last game of the year.

Personally, I'll try and get as fit as I can and make a decision whether I play or not after Xmas.

Are you guys looking to get any of the GF team from a couple of years ago back from OS. I thought there was about half a dozen that were unavailable last year through travel. The boys will be keen to lock horns with Mainsbridge and co again.

Too bad this bloke also does not have a heart string. As the name suggests, loves to sit in the pocket feeding off everyone elses hard work. Wouldn't want those blonde locks getting messed up.

he was a sniper that goalsneak bloke people say. was told he belted blokes from behind too get the pill. still was a classy player. Was a bit of a wayne Carey at club functions too.

heard a whisper yesterday that richmond have pick up a number of quality players from Old Westbourne, one that def going over is ben 'coxy' lennon, gun midfielder/forward i believe.

What takes a gun midfielder from a team that has been on the cusp of success for ages to a team that has been on the brink of collapse for a while?

I could see the OW boys sticking together, even if it was at another club

Thomo, 33 - 35 turned up Monday with 9 from North Kew. At the moment it is all an unknown. Committee was only decided last Monday night, still have jumpers and name to decide in coming weeks.

Will get a better indication in next couple of weeks of numbers, however, most guys will turn up in late Jan, early Feb if they are going to play.

At the moment we are keeping all senior players from last year (kew), unlike at the end of 05' when we lost at least 10 senior players to retirement or overseas.
 
I notice a few sides are back training now. has anyone got some updates as to numbers and any big gains?
 
Good numbers last night, half a dozen new boys who should make a positive contribution. It was our first run with a new assistant coach - initial impressions very good, we'll see how he pans out!

Tigernuts trains hard. Right now he is a very sore and sorry pair of furry clackers. Starting to harbour regrets about the pies'n'pizza diet since finals.
