Big rumblings from the zoo. Saw a couple of the younger blokes out on Friday night. The club is struggling for numbers and satisfaction about training/coach is at a low point.

Could be late changes with staff prior to round 1. If this is the case look for an underdone zoo mob for the start of `08.

Any thoughts?

wouldnt have a clue bout uni high.. i played them a couple of years ago.. not much chop, although u would have to question how low morale and happiness with coaching staff would be after a premiership, u would assume many would return.

With good authority i make my posts. Flags may retain players but also give players that feeling of a job done. If u need conformation drive past Monday night when there post chrissy training starts, there will be more water bottles than players.

As the famous Timothy Guild once said - For every can of soft drink purchased in Australia, another cog of the Uni High wheel falls off.

you say numbers are low and satisfaction in cocahing staff is down yet i have spoken to a number of people at uni high and they all seem confident of a good year with new players to replace outgoing ones just curious to know how 2 differnet views are coming out of one team

In one quote you are saying that a promoted team will possibly make finals and be surprise packets and in the other breath you are saying that Uni High are not much chop. From your posts you seem to be from Uni High!!!

Met their coach at the coaches luncheon after their premiership win. I believe it was his first year on the job, and he seemed pretty keen about 08. I can't imagine he'd step down?

In regards to my previous posts, they were a work of fiction. I don`t know what prompted me to write in such fashion however i shall retract my comments.

Anyhow heard some scathing rumors from Williamstown, mass walkouts/ financial crisis. Can anyone from over the bridge please explain. I for one am looking forward to playing Willy this year but with such massive off field issues will they even front up?

I would think that both UHS and Eltham will finish mid table.

Both sides are better than the Powerhouse Premiership side of 2006.

if i would than i would have a premiership medal.. i wish.. i was merely making a point to not underestimate any team just because of the year b4.. in the end, i guess we will c who is any good, its all speculation.. i tip st johns, and i reckon elsternwick should finish top 4.. maybe 3rd or even 2nd..

In a brief comment we have Elsternwick have perhaps 4th or 3rd or 2nd ?

They might also finish 1st or 5th or 6th or 7th . . .

These posts are thrilling.

Pleasant !

Commit to your top 10 prediction then - UHS finish where ?

i honestly couldnt predict that.. between hawthorn, powerhouse and swinburne. who knows.. It should be a good competetive season.. what do you think spencer?

agree tough calls in a close season . . .

The Hawks then would plummet from 2nd after 18 games last season to bottom 3 but this is a possible. No doubt. Early days indeed. But for me not bottom 3 side given their very sound home record in 2007. That advantage should translate to say 5 home wins for 2008 at least. Need to keep the big lads who did very well for them last year.

The 'House do have their new coach who really is a good fit for them and they would be disappointed with an '8th-9th-10th' finish given they did push some good sides at times in 2007 . . . I think they can finish top 6
myself but really need to sure up the return when playing Ross Gregory

Razorbacks form was patchy in 2007 - never confident of them doing too well as they seem to rely on too few week in week out.
