Patty, a member of OW told me they won't play on their ground this year, any truth in that

Not sure what the plan is yet. Not going to stage 4 has helped our chance dramatically as we are allowed to water our ground still.

We are currently training elsewhere to give our ground plenty of rest!

Why isn't horsborough playing FF this year. i know he played a few games up the ground last year. but surely a bloke who is capable of kicking 100 goals in a season should be spending most of the year at FF. is he playing??

With a couple of 100+ in a season goal kickers in the one side i guess its a matter of who's more capable of playing up around the ground!

Jucka has retired. He's still remaining involved with footy though, he's now the bloke down at Essendon FC who straps the pads onto his back so the boys can take speccies over him. He reckons he's loving it, sometimes he says he can smell Lloydys missus' perfume on his groin as he rides him into the ground.

That boy has one sick obsession.

Heard from a member of their inner sanctum a couple of weeks ago that they were struggling to get double-figures on the track (generally between 10-15), and look like being a strong relegation contender.

walked past tuesday night and they were playing a bit of a game - skins vs jumpers. looked to be a least 25. what are they like? any good players in there. anyone here play for them and can give some input?

How good is your maths?

generally between 10 and 15 but stuggling for double figures?

Isn't strong relegation contender an oxymoron?

anyone want to put their ladder predictions out there before rnd 1 and after all the trash that has been spoken on here?

OMR - not too much looks to have gone on to change my thoughts from a VERY limited information base. For what it is worth I would run with :

West Brunswick, OW, Elsternwick and Kew for top four.

Powerhouse, La Trobe ( despite rumours of some coaching changes ) pressing up on the top four.

Swinny, Hawthorn, Monash and Ivanhoe to look at filling the bottom positions. Maybe a bit harsh on the first three as there has been limied mail on them.

Some more practice matches could changes some view points, even though they give limited true information away.

What about you OMR?

Ive only seen one practice match - WBvKEW and wasnt that wrapped in wat I saw and reading wat I have on this rubbish I think it could be a very open season with a lot depending on the early form and fitness of many teams. I dont think you could read much into the sh*t that is written on here.

Fair enough. What is your predicted ladder in the 'open season' ?

As i said unsure, however I think a lot of people are writting off a few teams very early in the piece. I dont no much about any of the teams as I am new to the comp.
