Anyone give the Gryph's a chance against the Wicks this weekend??
I don't see the Gryphs winning this one Broman especially since the HUGE Convery is back into the Wicks side. Gryphs will be praying for rain I would think. However, the result shouldn't matter as the Westies will loose the last 2 and join Kew in D4.

jhonny i have seen it happen before not over till the fat lady sings. lets just keep it interesting for abit of fun otherwise no sole would train would they.

Have seen worse happen AL - last year didn't Bulleen Temp drop from 2nd to 5th in the last round after a 90-odd point thumping to Rupo?

That being said 240 odd point turn around between E-wicks and Invahoe % in two weeks would be a big shock.

But as you say....the fat lady is not singing !!

P.S. The Gryphs might be a little miffed that you are looking at them up as a % booster?

not a percentage boost off gryphs but hoes 2 drop 2...........enjoy the weekend

4 out of 5 to go to 57 for the year.

Interesting week coming up, top two set, 3 plays 4 with the winner to take 3rd and no matter what happens will be playing two weeks in a row. Relegation battle between Monash and WB likely to be decided by %, play the top two teams!

West Brunswick to go down. Grphs will beat Hawthorn and stay up. Hawthorn very ordinary against Kew.

I tend to agree about who will go down Crazy, but the Hawks did beat OW the previous week, so may depend which Hawthorn team turns up???

The one who has nothing to play for apart from getting injuries a week out from their finals game against OW.

Gryphs a big chance, even though they were soundly beaten on the weekend......had E-wicks kicked straight.

Ok, so using that theory, which OW will WB be facing this weekend? My money is on Gryph's staying up, but could go either way.

So which game did you look at Chimp?

I had a look at a half of Ivanhoe and West Brunny.

I arrived just before half time to see the home team in a spot of bother - some 4 goals down.

The Hoe boys need to be drug tested, as something in the water at half time must have kicked them into gear. Banged on 6 or 7 in 15 minutes to blow WB out of the water - if not the contest. Some pretty good football from the home team to be honest. Last 1/4 pretty even contest with WB making two challenges before being overrun.

Champ

Do you think it was just a case of the Hoes being inspired by club stalwart Stevie Graham playing his 50th game?

Managed to catch second half of the students game on the weekend. Looked good when they wanted to, much different team than when they played eachother earlier in the season. Luderman again impressive with his international mrs watching on. Will need to be on their A game to stop 'the pace' and ivanhoe, maybe bribe him with cheese burgers.
Has anyone's tip for who is going to make the grandfinal changed after the past two weeks results?

GC - a few questions.....

How much stock would you put in this weeks rehersal between the students and the hoes? Full teams? smoke and mirrors I would say.

What's your tip for the GF and why?

Straight sets for Hawthorn. Westbourne to play Latrobe in GF. Although it would n't suprise me to see Ivanhoe make it. Winner of the first semi will play Westbourne in the big one.

I almost agree with Crazy bear. hawks out in straight sets, although I think Ivanhoe will make it.

J. Holland to get best on in the GF and Joskun Aziz to kick 6, with Johnny Farnham's Your the voice to be played on no less than 8 occasions that night.

Is that enough detail champ?

Thanks Lions Den,
How old is Joskun?? That could be the oldest side in history. Will you be heading back to the Hoes next year LD?
