Round 1...

NB v RC ... No comment
BHN V AP ... Too close to call
STH V SM ... Close game as well
BC V Kew ... Surely Kew are favourites at this point
EP V SFX ... Unknown, probably SFX?
ML V WB ... Close game, WB favourites

Its a good first round, lots of potentially close matches I'm thinking.

NB v RC - RC based on what we know, but NB much better at home
BHN V AP - Based on lack on information from AP - BHN to get the points
STH V SM - Go with SM, although should be very close
BC V Kew - Same as Waz - the Cobras just hoping to improve
EP V SFX - Phew. First time SFX travel & EP tipped to be improvers. EP.
ML V WB - WB to turn up to play. Or maybe not as good as we think?

NB V RC.....I think RC, but NB will be happy to be back at Allard
BHN V AP...Who Knows, anyones guess???? A Draw!!
STH V SM..SM will have a win here

Its only my opinion, But Im sure Peter Pan will have some sort of comment!!!!

If your ladies are going to cop a hammering after each win I suggest that they are going to be in for another lean meat season!
They might as well look else where.

We are the Cobras, so the ladies don't need to feed all that often, but will be well satisfied every time they do eat.........:D

They'll eat more often than last year anyway.......:thumbsu:

Sorry guys, i couldnt help but notice the similarities between this conversation and what i heard a toothless redneck Mother, woodstock in hand at 9:00am tell all 15 of her children outside the centerlink office in Melton just b4 feeding her dole check through The Outback Jack pokie machine.. "huh yuk, if we wins we eatz gurlz n boyz!.... aww dawg gone it, gotta have another kid (spits on passer by)

As some of you may or may not know, I am the official photographer for the Bulleen Cobras AFC.

This year I plan on photographing opposition teams as well as ours. Half of the game will be dedicated to my boys and the other half to the opposition so there will be plenty of photos taken of both teams.

I will have a web site specifically showing opposition's images. I will have this up and running before round one. Web details available soon.
Here is a taste of what you can expect...

We would definately pay for good marking photos of our players.... how much is the question?

The image would bring a free for head high and maybe reported for high contact when player had his head over the ball,:eek:my whistle fingers are switching already:D

That reminds me... Are the VAFA ever going to do anything about the umpires at Bulleen games? They all wear the same uniform. Blue shorts and socks and white shirts.... craziness. Why cant the VAFA umps wear clash shirts like the players have to?

all wrong, obviously you all don't have the fingers in the pies as i do, or your fingers don't have fingers if you know what i mean.
RC will on the what i hear take it to all teams, NB no dofferent.
BHN are so confident that the season may as well be over, and rightly so from i've seen! bad luck AP.
SM will get over STH with ease.
Kew maybe favourites in your eyes but i think BC from what i've seen and heard from in the know people have taken last year in a not so good manner and have therefore recruited like mad and come up trumps, Bulleen temp maybe in trouble if they were unleashed on each other!!!
Ep V SFX, well think Lilydale but with more strength, depth and talent, SFX will struggle to lose a game, even more so with the 3 top teams form D4 gone!
ML v WB, i can tell u this will be close, and in reality a end of season clash first up, ML to take it along with the flag, just.
can i back all this up, over 20 years in the VAFA tell me i can, floating from D, E to F and all grades above and below (yes that is posible)

So lets get this right

SFX will struggle to lose a game , but will be beaten by Mt Lilydale in the grand final, however Bulleen are stronger than a fairly strong D1 team, with Richmond taking it to everyone, and BHN so strong the season may be over, then toss in WB who are playing round one in an end of season class.

So far you have three premiers and three other finalists, any others you plan to add to a final five? Can you put names to any of the big recruits??

well of course we are in the VAFA, who knows what the powers that be might do, a final 6 perhaps? you seem a little upset, did i leave your team out? as for the names of these recruits, one can't tell all now can they! with the season so close all will be revealed soon enough.
