To the cobra ressies,there is only one way to handle something like this and that is to put it behind you and move on to next week which having seen the cobra spirit from last year I know you will do,was not at the game but form what I know of the cobras I'm sure they fought it out till the final siren.

That was worse than round 10 last year, what a great day for footy! Of course getting a win on the board makes all the rain and cold worthwile.
We had a terrific contest with BHN yesterday. There was never more than 10 points in it the whole way, and only one goal was scored in the final quarter. Then, the big fish gets a free kick in the back pocket with 30 seconds to go and decides to hit dan penny on the chest about 35m out! OF course he'd (DP) already kicked 5 goals for the game, and 2 from that exact position on the ground, AND has won the game after the siren in the past..... BUT.... He missed the goal by one foot. It looked good off the boot too.... PHEW!

Two years ago RC's ressies got beaten 200 - 0 by hawthorn, and I dropped a mark in the goal square in the final term

In both cases it has been a fantastic effort to turn the clubs around and gain respect of their peers both on and off the ground.
Hopefully we will see both clubs competing for the cup in higher grades as the years roll on.

I like to think of myself as one of the most astute gamblers of all time. The actual spread talked about down our club on Thursday night was WB -139.5 pts. Didn't want to flirt with danger. Must admit I was a tad concerned when the rain cam about 10pm Friday night. I know WB's home ground can turn ugly.
I also didn't mean to disrespect the Cobras. West Brunswick have toweled our boys up on numerous occasions over the past few years in the 2's (& 1's) quite easily as well. Good Luck next week boys against Mt Lilydale.

RC had a bloke who umped the ressies for years"'Johnny" something and from what I read on here BHN have just lost a club timekeeper what about combining the 2 surnames.

SFX a little too strong for NB. Thought SFX were really good blokes in the seniors - didn't know what to expect after a fair bit of talk floating around - but they were terriffic and the game was incident free.

His name is Bourkey,thats if you're referring to the bloke with the dermie frame and chicken legs. if we can keep him on the park he'll be handy.Could probably benefit from more training, tough gig to get from the Rialto to Beaconsfield every Thursday though.
