I wouldn't have thought so. Mountain men were thrashed by west brunny and touched up by Kew. Haven't seen them live but will do in the coming weeks. They would have to improve out of sight to trouble those 2 sides.

Cant tell you how many sides I have seen go un-defeated and fall over in finals. Good planning and a little luck can go a long way. As for Mt L, would advise other clubs to be careful.

Well I'm looking forward to playing ML... We got fairly well smashed in the 3rd quarter last year out at their ground. At least we get to play them at home once this season.

Everyone except AP have and will be thrashed by WB. Their a class above all others including Kew. Even though some at Kew think they will beat WB next time...as a result Kew are my nomination for TOOL OF THE WEEK

Can't see them finishing higher than 4th and then they have to get over Kew and St Frances. I feel the mountain men may be a little overated on this forum. They seem to smash the middle to lower sides but fail against the good sides.

Interesting comment Tunnel, what is that based on. We all stayed back and had a beer and we worked hard to get your guy off at the tribunal.

If it was based on our thoughts of beating WB, anythings possible. We play our ground well and WB have played (inc.) this week 5 of 7 at home and 1 (mt.l) at a neutral venue. Their only away game was against AP where they won by 3 goals.

You guys were confident before the game against us so you have to be confident and think you can beat the opposition otherwise what is the point of turning up.

What your club did for the MT.LIL player was a great show of 'sportsmanship'. Did you hear the half time spray the boys got from the captain in the 1's? OOOOOOWEEEEE!

Tunnelball......it seems you have TunnelVision:thumbsdown:
If you are from Mt Lilydale. Why would you call Kew the TOOLS OF THE WEEK when they have apparently been concerned enough to stick around after a game to help one of your players beat a tribunal appearance?
Who's the tool of the week now!!:D

The other interesting point was that Tunnel said he wasn't at the game!!

Enough of that, Sneako in regards to the spray - best I have ever heard, went on for at least 2 minutes - plenty of expletives using the F word. We had to listen to that before our coach could get a word in. Absolute Gold!!!:)

This week's guesses:

Albert Park over North Brunswick comfortably. 61 points.
Richmond Centrals over Tally Ho! by enough - let's say around 27 points
West Brunswick over the Sharks. 7 majors to separate them at the final siren
Mountainmen to knock off the Cobras to the tune of four goals 5 behinds
SFX over Mornington South by 40 points
Kew to Beat the Box soundly. 54 points.

My only suggestion of an upset would be the Syndal Manny Ho's... if the ball bounces their way they might put a stutter in the step of the snakes. The Sharks will put in a good showing but won't have the personnel to trouble the juggernaut. Mt Lily at home not too much trouble, Albert Park, SFX and Kew to win with no surprises there.

Good luck to every umpire and every player who has ever umpired, or is willing to umpire one day or knows someone who umpired once and did at least a mediocre job of it.

I had the pleasure of overhearing a feeelthy 2 minute half time spray a few years ago when an opposition team was down by two goals at half time... they were playing alright too, and weren't expected to win. Then came out in the third and they promptly gave away 9 goals in twenty minutes. The captain had to give the 3/4 time speech!

Early Mail - I sure this was not meant to be a reflection on your club and your guys. I thought the way Kew went about the game from the professionalism of the coach to the well drilled and close team was A1.
And that flowed on after the game !! Hats off

I think at this stage at would line ball to who would take the points b/w Kew and WB. Good Luck
