No you didnt, just pointing out that you are talking SH%^E
again so upset, as for talking crapola, the proof wil be in the pudding, is it difficult for u to believe that there maybe 6 teams in the hunt ( 2 outstanding ) in what will be a close year. injuries will of course play a part as teams in D4 are not know for their depth, if they're lucky with the injuries then there ar 6 teams in with a shout, sorry about no mentioning your team, i'm sure they'll do just fine, whoever they may be.

No problems- i would be disappointed if you mentioned my team as they are not in this grade to my knowledge. I have no issue with anyone mentioning any teams being in the hunt- i would have thought 12 were in the hunt at the moment- what i was amused with was the certainty with which you picked three maybe four teams for the flag.

Are you kidding?
West Brunswick will run through D4 like a dose of salts! Bill Irving is all class. In this he has a lot of very helpful mates. WB are brimming with good old fashioned talent. The Reserves they have will back themselves to leap into senior selection for the whole season.
WB by a country mile!
They have a great feeder source. Uni guys from all over the country. If they can't get a run with Uni Blues,Blacks or Reds( remember, Fitzroy Reds used to be the "commos"?), then they will go for the "mighty" magpie colors.......

Can't see any other club getting anywhere near them. Good club, good players & good facilities....

Now, just as you're thinking.... I'm a WB stooge...no I'm not! My loyalties lie elsewhere.

I've been in D4 recently and know it's tough running around in the VAFA "cellar".

But in a competition that is probably the envy of all other leagues in metropolitan Melbourne, the buck stops somewhere and in the Ammos, it's D4.

Good luck to all clubs for an injury free season and let's hope for some soaking rain to get the grounds into good shape for 2008!

Never trust a post made at 1am on a weekend!

I'd like to know what he knows though....

So what happened last year? You guys were poised to winthe D3 flag according to various commentary...and then.... ?

Gee, you'd hate to be Demons fan today...

How ironic... Went to see Sandringham v Box Hill VFL practice match today, I left at three quarter time with Sandy up by about 109 points... About half a dozen Melbourne players were in the Sandringham team. Maybe they should have played against Hawthorn instead, ay....

Rumours, rumours we want more rumours. Sounds like RC & WB recruiting well. Good to see BC & EP getting in there. Cannot stand still even at d4 level. Quiet on other fronts. Heard the BHN may be more talk than action this year, Anyone confirm. Hopefully tight season this year.

Hey Waz, spoke to some mates who played agaisnst WB last year. They feel they will run through D4 this year. Well coached and have talent to burn for this level with the top 3 teams of last year gone. Billy Irving - gun. Get on then -who wants to offer odds?

I can confirm that the statement above is not correct.

Ruck Machine you are deluded. Your club as always had history of talking it up and failing to deliver. How long has it been since your team has made the finals let alone a final win?

5th on Percentage this year!

Maybe fourth if you do a knee early in the season!

Troll for sure, and the worst comments on this since my post this time last year. For sure a comment best left for a face to face on the field!

Div, You sound like a 2 year nag warming into its first spring carnival with blinkers on! Break away from that tunnel vision champ and just enjoy that the fact the footy is back! Damm the weekend's footy was good!

Played against BHN in D4 semi final 2006. They had beaten us in the last round of the year the week before. We were up by 40 points at 3/4 time. They came storming home and lost by a goal i think. We went on to smash Eltham and Hawthorn. Probably deserved to make final from what i saw.

Definately a confidence team. Jump them early

I watched the above mentioned game Ed sill JNR.....if BHN had kicked better at goal they may have beaten you guys...they were a very good team that year...though you guys deseved to win the premiership.

I don't think BHN talk shiz about themselves really - good honest club who will be thereabouts for finals. We beat each other in home games last year - both were good clashes.

big news

hi all

has anyone heard anything about the guy they call " the brain" training at kew

keep your eye on the ball bag boys this guy is sure to entertain from what i hear !

Re: now for the serious gear

Practice Games! How come RC v Monash isn't mentioned on the VAFA site? There will be a crowd of thousands at KB for the big match. I hear Monash have picked up a few talls, but will they be able to bend down low enough to tackle the mighty RC snakes!

Here's hoping it rains all week and we kick off on time on the 12th April. Start the reseeding today City of Yarra!
