They just would not miss... some quality disposals into the forward line combined with a few solid marks in the goal square.

AP's final score should actually read 12-19 (91). They had STH at arm's length for much of the game, Syndal kicked the first 2 of the last 1/4 and it looked like game on but AP steadied.
First home game of the year for the Falcons, ground looks pretty good except for one pocket at the city end. The small confines usually make for a pretty scrappy congested game, Saturday was certainly a good example of that. AP should get Baker & Venables back after the break so may improve.

They are a seriously professional club though., top to bottom.
Pitty they wear those god awful jumpers. (That is the only thing you can really hang any crap on at the moment......just no flies!)
Truthfully though, they are beatable. But they will have to be on a very bad day............
FWIW - there is alot to learn from them both on and off field....best way to take the day I think.

i'm not sure what was more disapointing on sat our last quater fade out, or the mess left behiend by the visitors outside, it seemed that they did not want to socialise with us much and didnt care about all the rubbish they left at the bbq area, shot out of there as soon as best on was anounced, and i'm not saying they brought there own booze but there were empty 6 pack rappers and king cobra did look very lonely behiend the bar. Now i'm not a bad sport and i will hang around when we play them away (next yr).

I did sell some 6 packs still in wrappers from behind the bar, so this may be the sourse of the packets but if they weren't carlton draught then they brought their own, which i doubt because there was a steady flow of sharks at the bar.
I hope you only sold one six pack at a time, checked the ID of anyone under 30, had your liquor licence displayed in a prominent place and gave a disclaimer about "drinking responsibly" as per the Good Sports accreditation...

I do like box hills draw but only having 3 wins at the moment is a problem.
They will be 3-6 after next week and would have to have at least 10 wins to get in.
