Who will win the D4 b&f and who would be the favourite from your club, having been beaten by everyone the best i have seen so far was Irving from WB, i know he will have alot of competition from his own side but he is a standout, also thought Horne from Kew was very very impressive.
Syndals favourites would have to be A.Davis, P.Agnello or F.George.
Tough to split them apart for the club B&F although i doubt we will poll many (if any) votes in the leauge.
I agree with you that it would be hard for you to poll many league b and f votes without winning too many (any so far) games
horne would poll well but hard for a forward to win it especially with plenty of midfielders for kew getting heaps of kicks to get the footy to him
also tough for irving their midfield at wb has a lot of others who will steal votes off him
cookson will go well at cobras, shining light
same as that defender at richmond that big waz talks up, not sure how consistent he has been?
its good to see your club is back to where you want it to be. so 2009 could be a big year for the snakes then?

Seriously though, I think it would be remiss if we didn't look ahead now that our ones wont make finals. Any ideas of who we can poach??? RM are you interested? (To be honest though, you don't see too many swaps between D4 teams - and that's a good thing. Lets poach them from grades above, get all our teams to A Section, and sack Sholly.)
It is good that we are more competitive now, however we obviously want to improve and win the flag, as does every one. It has been an awesome year so far - and the finals looks set to be the most interesting for years - I can't remember a time when it was so open from 1st to 5th. Good luck to those teams involved, and for every team who isn't, I suggest you get your asses down there and see what your missing....would be a good inspiration for 09'.

If it's going to be 11 in Melb it will be about 7 in Lilydale and Beaconsfield, great trips for Nth Brunswick & Eley Park this weekend!!

cold hands & fingers a part of this too - a great advertisement for the wearing of gloves to prevent injuries - something the amateur hierachy fail to acknowledge. they have it in their system that gloves arent needed within the divisions.
they need to move out of the stone age i believe & listen to reason. anyone else agree?

you see a perfect example provided by yellow blue for the wearing of gloves. this is where the amateurs have it wrong. they should wake up & move into current times. the amateurs are the only competition in victoria where its forbidden to wear gloves... ludicrous!!

You guys are surely pulling our leg. 90% of games are played in great conditions. This year I can remember only 1 round where it was freezing cold and raining. The only players who wear gloves are soft cks who don't want to get there fingers cold!!
How many players do you guys know of who have lost fingers to frostbite playing footy.
You guys need a hard case of harden the fck up!!!
How about we play all finals at the telstra dome or better still have commercial heaters around the ground or maybe we could implement a cold policy (similar to cricket's heat policy) whereby the game cannot be played under 16 degrees.
