D4 dominated the tribunal this week:
Paul Hildebrand, Swinburne University. Striking, 4 matches.
Daniel Lyne, Albert Park. Failed to appear, 1 match.
*Cameron Liston, Box Hill North. Striking, 2 matches.
*Lachlan McFadzean, La Trobe University. Striking, 2 matches
You can also add another case from d4 from the previous week when another LaTrobe player was up - he got off!
Interestingly it was a report of a player striking a tagger and reports indicate that the tribunal thought that as the tagger was being a pest he instigated the LaTrobe player to strike him, and as such got off. A quote from the hearing...
"AFL has a lot to answer for this stuff", then one of them looked at me and said "next time we may try and find grounds to suspend you if that nonsense happens"
Does this sound strange to anyone else?
And please don't read into this that i think he shouldn't have got off - i actually thought it was a pretty soft report having seen the incident.
