The first posting of my tips this season but i think im 9/10 so far, only missing our loss after the siren round 1.

North Brunswick v South Morninton - We have let two 5 goal leads slip so far, but we are playing good footy and we continue to improve our team week by week. I am confident we can over run the north boys this game after North only managed 5 goals on a beautiful sunny day last weekend. South by 28 pts.

Chadstone v Eley Park - Not sure how to gage Eley yet, all i know is that Chadstone sadly wont win a game again this year. Eley Park by 65 pts.

Richmond Central v Swinburne - Richmond one of the teams to beat this season for mine, not sure about swinburne until they beat one of the top teams. Richmond at home by 31 pts.

Manningham v Mt lilydale - Mt Lilydale my early flag pick, i just think with the top 3 going up last season they will take there chance this season and make it to the last day of the year, Manningham while improved will be no match. Mt Lilydale to run away after half time to win by 53 pts

Point Cook v Box Hill North - Not sure, Point Cook the unknown, Have Box Hill improved??? I will go with home team to notch up thier first win for the year. Point Cook by 11 pts

Monash over Sth Morn by 48 Pts (Can only see this one going one way in Nick Rutherford's 150th. SM will give good account of themselves in the first half, but Gryphs to pull away thereafter).
Box Hill Nth over Eley Park by 12 Pts (Very hard to line up the form on this one, but expect the home side to prevail due to the home ground advantage).
Richmond over Chadstone by 88 Pts (Looks a certainty on paper and the margin the only matter worth arguing. Daniel Pike to continue his good form for the Snakes).
Mt Lilydale over North Brunswick by 5 Pts (Sure to be close and the large expanses of Mercy College Oval the only thing swaying me to the home side. Expect a big game from Mark Gower).
Point Cook over Swinburne by 3 Pts (Match of the round at St James' Park and I will give the Doggies another chance. Todd Lawrie proving too much for the Razorbacks).

Round 2 Review

4/5 (7/10 Cumulative) was a far more accurate prediction that round 1, but like many it seems I have over-estimated the collective talent of the boys out west who sit 0-2 after a less than satisfactory performance against a rejuvenated Razorbacks. Swinburne along with Mt Lilydale were the big winners of the round, the latter completely blowing Nth Brunswick off the park in a fine display of fast paced and accountable football. No matter what the form of Finkemeyer’s boys, Nth would be disgusted with their performance and paid for it on the track over the past few days. Monash and Richmonddid what they had to do against inferior oppositions, Sth Mornington almost non-existent after half time, whilst Chaddy must be wishing there was a division 5! Still yet to be convinced about the respective abilities of the Sharks and Box Hill, but the coming weeks will reveal much…

Round 3 Preview

North Brunswick over Sth Mornington by 16 Pts (Hard to know which Brunswick will turn up, but I suspect they will be out to redeem lost pride and just hold on against Sth. The wet should help too).
Eley Park over Chadstone by 51 Pts (On paper one of the few games that Chaddy will be a chance in this season, however, when you can only boot one goal in near perfect conditions it doesn’t matter who the opposition is. Sharks by plenty).
Richmond over Swinburne by 16 Pts (Clear match of the day as both teams were impressive last week. Both have also accounted for Pt Cook but the home ground advantage may be enough for the Snakes).
Mt Lilydale over Manningham by 14 Pts (Should be another cracker of a contest, just feel that an attack that boasts Justin Roberts and Andrew Rodwell will be too much for the Cobras who still have not applied their trade against the better teams in the grade).
Pt Cook over Box Hill North by 22 Pts (Always reluctant to tip a team that has lost their first two, but it may well be that the Doggies have played two finalists already, so I am willing to give them one more chance).

to be honest people or clubs like this have no place in footy in any league! I personally wish your club no success at all and would not even care if your club folded!!!!

i agree Up front, yesterday was one of the most disgraceful displays i have seen by a team in a long time, i have had respect for manningham but what i saw yesterday with them headbutting and punching oppositon players off the ball is just pure scum acts.
i would be embarrassed if i had a player like No.10 running around in my team if the umpires had of seen what you had done you would have gotten 20 weeks. so for all you teams still to play manningham they are dogs and dont put up with there sh1t. good riddance to you manningham and i hope you lose every game still to be played this season. No.10 your a disgrace to football, we play for the love of the game and to play with our mates, we dont play to see how many guys we can knock out and get into fights with.

I'm not one to slag others, I'd rather see the positive side of Ammo footy discussed here. But, yesterday's thuggery by No. 10 from Manningham was the worst I've seen. I don't blame the club or the other Cobras players, just No. 10. I hope the club sees fit to remove him from their playing list before he gives the whole club a very bad name. I saw him headbutt 2 players and punch a player in the face - all behind play. He also punched a player in the face at the bottom of a pack. Interestingly, all these players were a lot smaller than him.
From my observation, other Cobras players seemed astounded by his behavior and didn't appear to want to be involved. Manningham appeared to me to be an improved side from last year and they definitely don't need to use these type of tactics to win games.
He was very lucky not to have been seen by the umpires.

No.10 has a history for these type of incidents going back to when manningham were called Bulleen, he has returned after a couple of years in other leagues.
So they know exactly what he is like so don't feel sorry for Manningham, the ammos should be notified so they can eradicate these acts of thuggery.
Hope no players were seriously hurt.
