Seniors - Gonna tip RC to have a comfortable win here over Swinny, they have hit there best at the right time and think that a RC v SFX grand final would be fitting... Reserves - I have no idea who to tip here just going to observe this and hope it's a tight physical game but if I had to I would tip RC in a close one... Also noticed the Granny has been changed to the Sat on the net!! Anyone know the venue???

i thought all games were played at vermont also would like to ask plugger if the rumor was right that he was seeking to ask zarffa an piggy back to the club after there disapointing display on field performance this year hear not to many peeps happy

The Snakes are in the GF. Well done to all the guys involved, its been a long time between drinks. 16 years since a flag, 16 years since playing in a GF. I hope I can put a face to all the bigfooty names on Saturday (location TBD?).

Thankfully not my decision any more. But no I wouldn't ask either. I did get a text from one of them seeking details of how to apply. The only person who knows that though is the person who sent that text. Maybe he shouldn't start rumors on big Footy after that!!

a couple of good games to finish out the season,
in the seniours should be a close game with the short kicking game of sfx and strong forwards vs the crowd favourite sebastion and co in the midfeild,
surely the red headed pyke gets a hard tag on dimma
as for the early game..
elley park parks midfeild led by no 46 surely (should have played more seniour games) and young blakey feeding the big full forward

should be a good game of footy on sat or sunday some where

hmmmmmm....have already caught you out "fibbing" this year (and there was an apology given from Cobras lair) so are you saying certain players did NOT sit out at the end of the season?
No one "sat out". One player left for their own reasons. Not too difficult to work out who that is, and one of his mates was injured and missed a few games at the end of the season.
I don't expect either will be back next year. As it will turn out, both have been great players for the club, but if they are not keen to be around then that's ok.
The great part about these posts is that you are tryign to dig up dirt tryign to paint the club as desperate, shit etc.
We are not - and we are comfortable with the way the year panned out. Obviously we would have preferred to win more games etc, but we know what needs to be done to imporve and we are absolutly focussed on that.

My response was sarcastic; something that probably doesn't translate in writing. Quite intentionally giving you nothing.
As for fibbing. Plain wrong. You've never caught me at all. I'd love to see the posts you're referring to. I can only assume that you're referencing the situation with Vinno. And if you go back & check the only thing I conceded was 'context'.
You're probably a great bloke around a footy club, but quite frankly you're a pain in the arse on here. Constantly shit stirring & with very little positive to say.
Anyway - kudos to Waz & the RC boys. We always seem to be at odds & ends umpiring together, but I know how hard he's worked as president to make RC better. It's always great to see a club promoted that has had its arse kicked for years. It'd be great to see you take out the flag. Good luck in D3 - keep up the good recent record of promoted clubs.

You seem to have a thing for umpires in this comp Harvey, so i ask you (or anyone for that matter) is it pure coincidence that RC Magoos go out in straight sets with neutral / unbiased umpires?

So it's finally confirmed, Saturday at Scammell reserve Oakliegh again, big windy ground, could be a small advantage to Eley and RC who played there on Saturday, Eleys reserves looked good on the weekend easily accounting for RC, I didn't see the seniors but RC obviously did it easy also, should be two good games this week, gonna tip South in the magoos (obviously) and a mini upset with RC taking out the senior flag, good luck all involved.
