Lucky enough to get down and watch the northern blues vs hawks game yesterday, the fast paced style by the blues and there on ball pressure proved to be too much for the hawks. Great game to watch. Could they win it from 6th?

As much as we at point cook are filthy with hawthorn for losing, we are not surprised. The Northern Blues have been really impressive.

On another note, West Brunswick were too good yesterday.

Very well drilled, and peel numbers off the back of the packs. Will take some beating, they play great team footy.

Good luck to the remaining 4.

Great to see the Blues get up. Very suprised at North Brunswick result, but EP are great starters and didn't let us down. WB are definitely the smokey - they have continued to improve all year.

Chadstone looking for all new coaches - good luck. Cobras also, are they looking for a recruitmant manager or a coach - see job description? NB job will be open as well - not a bad one to pick up.

Northern Blues on the big Coburg city oval will be a handfull for West Brunswick this week, they are
young, skillfull with plenty of run they have impressed all season.
Eley Park V Hawthorn will be another great contest, both sides have been strong throughout season but my money would be on Eley Park in a nail biter, good luck to all teams remaining in finals may the best teams win.

Totally agree with your point on the northern blues game, big ground will really suit them and if there full forward (mcsomething) fires up forward, they will be pretty hard to stop. He can win a game off his own boot that kid.

I for one think hawthorn with some players back will be too strong for eley park. Won't be surprised if they prove me wrong though.

I watched the Hawks v Blues last week and saw number 8 give away 5 free kicks and 3 25mtr penalties in the first half. I later found out he was the coach! This guy is a muppet and with his side getting smashed by 9 goals he needs to give the playing side of things away and try to get his team back on track for the pre lim this weekend. If they lose it will be one of the best chokes in years.

I am tipping Eley park by 5+ goals and Northern Blues to win with a leg in the air.

I was at the NB vs WB game today and Hawthorn's ressies were playing before hand.They would have to be one of the fattest teams I've ever seen.I hope they don't lose too many senior players next year because there wasn't much talent in the two's.

Congratulations to Nth Blues and Eley Park on attaining promotion to D3. Both teams have performed at the right time of the season and fully deserve their spot in this years grand final.
The Hawks have had a poor finals and looked slow yesterday, they would be bitterly disappointed to go out in straight sets and as the 2's were also bundled out by West B'wick making for a poor day all round.
Eley Park have been top 2 all year and are a well coached and drilled team whilst Nth Blues in their first full season finished 6th and other than being a young team not much was known about them, but what they have is youth, skill, run and enthusiasm and they are not intimidated by the bigger bodies.
This should be a cracking game in what I think has been a even season where anyone of the top 6 on their day played outstanding football, good luck to both teams and hoping for a great game to finish the season.! My tip.....Eley Park just.

Well done to both. EP have been my tip all year. As far as Hawthorn go it is just desserts. They have smacked of arrogance all year and were embarrassed to be in D4 - get used to it. Wonder if everyone who came back for "the easy flag" will now stick around?

A massive year kicking goals against box hill nth and manningham.. Even overhead him yesterday at the ones game comment he was a flat track bully and couldn't trouble the better sides.

Well done to EP and Northern Blues making the Grand Final. Great effort from both. EP probably been the best team all year but I'm tipping Northern Blues will win it. Amazing effort coming from 6th.
Don't know who you are Peptide but you're not a bad keyboard warrior. Hawthorn were beaten convincingly by Blues and had a great match against Eley Park on Saturday. Both teams thoroughly deserved their wins.
We recruited pretty well last summer but not well enough obviously. Hopefully we will retain most players from this year but a few have retired. Look forward to playing against the same clubs next year as they were all decent blokes. Except you Peptide, you're a knob.
 
Good luck to the sides on the weekend. EP have been on the verge for a while.
