Nuna have an excess of players and don't want to lose them.
Assume it means that Masala will field a Clubbies Team consisting mainly on Nuna Players???

First time poster, new to the VAFA! interested to here thoughts on who is going to be there or there abouts this year in Div 4?

The mighty bloods had their first outting at the 'vein' today against D1 side Whitefrais. 19's got done by 15 points, reserves got the job done by 10goals and the 1's had a great win to retain the cup! After many years of downs our year could not of started better. Flags are not won in March.....but a great step forward against a club 3 divisions higher! Bring on next week!!

In an interesting turn of events from previous reports, Masala's self-labelled "assistant coach of the year", Jaryd Coghill, was actually spotted deep in the forward line of their reserves practice match yesterday.
JC is a gun. His work on and particularly off the field at Masala has been noticed by more than just from within.

Looks like Aquinas are going to be the team to beat this year!
If they're beating D1 teams it's great news for them (they'd have to be at least competitive against anyone in D4) & terrible news for Whitefriars. (It's hard to see them being competitive in D1.)
Eley Park taken care of by UHS-VU (D3) in seniors by 35 goals...
Wow. Really? Hope like hell UHS-VU are super strong then.

Can anyone affiliated to the 4 clubs mentioned shed some light on their pick ups?
I'm very interested to see how St Francis go with a few years off..

Parkside have some very good ins.
Tom Canny won the BHN Senior B&F last season (gun), Ryder Susman is a running machine and Tom Mitchell is ever improving.
Will be interested to see how the trio perform in 2017.
Parkside got smashed by Richmond centrals and Masala beat Sandown Cobras over the weekend.
Sandown Cobras have about 30 players and were winless in 2016. Word going around is they are a red hot chance to either fold or play in SFNL thirds competition

Caught the second half of Aquinas vs Seville. Aquinas looked quite good, got some big bodies up forward and speed around the ground. Looking forward to seeing the results from the first round!

Looking forward to getting the real stuff underway this week!! Should be a cracking game against local rival My Lilydale....whom we have never played before!!
