Your the only guy to rank him at 15? You know and should know you can base your knowledge off two games?
But of course everyone has their opinion mate and thats fair. Im just interested why your the only guy that does rankings/phantoms to have him outside the top 5?
Genuinely means you havents seen prior vision to the 2017 season, lots of kids to do stuff in there bottom age years or before to catch the eye of recruiters.
What are your dis likes about him?

Heaps of people have Cerra outside of the top ten, does not mean I have to rate him where they all do.

Fogarty - I watched him in the midfield and he looked very slow. He attempted to use his brute strength and got caught constantly. He provided no spread from the contest and minimal awareness around the contest. I did not see outstanding agility or ball skills to make me think he will be a slick midfielder. His tank looks questionable to me or he is a touch lazy.
Forward - The goals he kicked were simple open looks from bad turnovers, nothing amazing from my liking. It did not see his leading patterns resulting in goals. I think he has been getting away with being the biggest kid on the block and that advantage is slowly disappearing.
Back - Now this is where he did his best work as it seemed he has very good knowledge of where to stand and zone off. As for being a lock down defender, I doubt he has that in his nature, so I think if he is going to play as a defender (best position ive seen him play) then he will need to learn that skill.

Anyway, those are my reasons. If you can project him having midfield ability, then he is a lot more likeable.
My rankings are based on what ive seen this year with a little bit from the previous year.

I can honestly see him moving up my rankings with a glimpse of midfield ability, but until I see that, I am pushing him down a little as I class him mainly as a defender.

Expect some big changes to my rankings on the weekend, some WA prospects set to come in. Sutherland set to rise with a bullet aswell

Sutherland did nothing today? How can he rise? Rarely sighted in the second half, and went into the mid. Not as prolific as spoken about up forward. I haven't seen schoolboys clips of him but champ level really hasn't done as much as hyped. For metro to dominate as much as they did, Sutherland should have kicked 5 plus as a key pos lead up forward.
He slips if anything.

Ainsworth, Allen and Starcevich rise in my rankings! From WA.

To be fair, he has him at 40 odd

He did some very nice things keep in mind he hasn't played any sort of high level football so need to look at the little things aswell. I won't include Ainsworth because I don't rate 19 year olds in my rankings I keep them seperate along with Paton from Country both are good players. And yes Allen and Starcevich will go into my top 40

Rating of fogarty justifiable Lemming- was putrid again today.

Carrying an injury or not, his U18 Champs haven't screamed Pick 1 at all. No way.

Bishop and DPS with the depth of the Vic Metro list, do you see most players making their way onto an AFL list or at least rookie drafted? Today's game showed that any of the 37 could slot in and be a highly competitive combination

Point taken there for sure! Sutherland is definitely an upside type player, as he hasn't really had a full AFL pre season or focused on one sport. Im probably to harsh on him, still rate him but not as highly as some.
Any SA movement in your top 40?

I think so although I didn't think McLean, Xerri and Jones had good games I see all 3 as rookie or late prospects now

That's fair enough mate. Not really just a few players to consider I have guys like Edwards, Martini, Hewson and Giro all pretty close together. Krueger I could put higher but I'm not sold on his off field stuff

Where do you place Stoddart, Mynott , Podhajski, Landt, Styles and Wooller?

In this order so far I have Wooler, Podhajski, Mynott, Landt, Stoddart, Styles. Wooler my clear favourite from that bunch all the rest are in the 40-80 range atm

If he didn't do what would be expected and hasn't played any sort of high level football and needs to look at little things as well, how can he go up in your ranking?

Because I really liked what he did yesterday, still some think to work on but he certainly should be higher in my rankings now

Agreed, far from a complete game, but he showed some AFL attributes with his mobility, skill execution and pressuring.

Shows a bit of attitude aswell and great at ground level, he misstimed a few jumps which is one thing I'd focus on for improvement

Good to see someone looking to put a few WA boys in.
Like many others it's hard to see many of the WA prospects and unlike SA they don't show much footage of players either but yeah I should have about 5 maybe 6 in total for my next update

Thoughts on Patmore, who I read had 32 disposals?
I was suprised he had 32 touches because I didn't really notice him early but I had a quick look at the replay and he did some nice things inside the contest. I wasn't sold on him after last year but he looks to have improved his composure and ball winning on the inside

What are his best attributes? I paid a bit of attention to him last year in one televised game, as he was one of very few for WA who were from this year's draft and he looked like a fairly skinny wing/flank type, who probably has good speed, evasiveness and skills.

Is that about right, or what?

His work by hand is good, clean hands. Things he could still work on are his kicking although its improved alot and his defensive work still needs some work, a few times last year players got around him a bit too easily. In general he has decent enough speed and a nice user by hand and now he has added a but more to his bow in terms of ball winning and improved kicking.

Updated ratings with the following coming in
Oscar Allen 33
Brandon Starcevich 36
Jake Patmore 45
Harrison Petty 55
Ryley Stoddart 59
Angus Schumacher 60
