First year players are paid $88k wage base plus match payments. Average salary is $81k. Nowhere near "three times" as you claim.
It's hardly a compelling reason for starting a professional football career at 17 without your VCE (or interstate equivalent) completed.
Earning good coin in your late teens can be dangerous if you don't have a decent education and structure behind you (eg. Jake Stringer).
