I did a search and couldn't find a thread for them so I thought I'd start one. Just about my favourite band right now. They're bloody unreal, and its rumoured that they'll be doing a world tour in 2011. Does anyone know anything about this?

same here, melbourne acted like the beatles or elvis had rocked up, was the best night for music ive ever experienced in australia

that crowd on that night was just unbelievable

A band who can sell 30,000 tickets to any gig they ever play will not be playing at the BDO, especially with their light show.

I piss-farted around and didn't see them last time they were out; didn't come to Adelaide and cbf'd organising flights/accom to somewhere else.

Jesus, do I regret it. Every single person I know who went to one of their shows is adamant it's one of the best they've ever seen.

Look up some stuff from Alive 2007. Its basically a mix of some of their most well known songs. Its ****en unreal (well at least I think so anyway ). I only paid $8 for it from JB's as well.

Harder Better Faster Stronger.
Kanye West sampled it for his song Stronger. Robot Rock is my personal favourite though.

I had tickets to go to the bowl to see Daft Punk, but couldn't make it, a couple of years back.
They're a worthy unit to see live, but let's not carried away that we're listening to Beethoven

I've always loved Daft Punk. One More Time has always been my favourite song, and a majority of their hits are right up there in Hand's song pecking order.
