AFL Club
Collingwood
Best player I have seen at Collingwood, Buckley included.

Had a knee reco as well at age 24 so that just adds to how good he ended up being!

Super player
And has sons

( father son?)

Still my most favourite player of all time I have seen play since following Pies as a little tracker!
Daics a true genius!

Me and work mate still occasionally YouTube him at work at lunch just to relive the memories.
As I like to explain it, the 2 greatest players I've witnessed for the Pies are Daics and Bucks, but if they were both trapped in a burning building and I could only save one ........................... Bucks would perish.
Sorry Nathan but Mr Daicos was that special.

Im a bit more practical,
Both are done playing wise,
nathan coaches, so peter alas, you're done

RompingWins with a great interview then, his reputation may rise a little yet.

Daicos is still the most skilled player I've ever seen play live, and I never expect that opinion to change.

He did things that no one else had ever done, and things that players now use as part of their game.

He is one of the few players in the history of the game to actually effect the game long after he's retired.

Said it many times on the board. Daicos is the best I've seen in my time following the pies.
He won games off his own boot on many occasions.

No matter what we do this trade period, we have to leave enough points in the bank to father/son Josh Daicos next year. Whether he is as good as is Dad, or nowhere near it, it doesn't matter. We just have to bring him in.

I've scouted nick Daicos and he's a different type of player. More of a silky mid but needs to work on his defesive game. Oozes class though.

I have a lot of love for Daicos (obviously) and Browny (26) as well.

My nephew goes to Marcellin and he said Browny jnr is the better player.

But like someone said earlier would love them both to be drafted.

Some things in footy should be retained...........

Yep, and I think he's grossly underrated by the industry (outside of Collingwood).

I wonder if he would've received more recognition for his exceptional talent if he played for the likes of Hawthorn and Geelong.
