Whilst in general a player who is exciting to watch is generally judged more glowingly by most than the rest, there is also the flip side where a player with flairs mistakes are, by some always going to be attributed to show boating etc. Can't win really.

Daisy needed to get new footy boots on the day - tweeted something about thanking the boot sponsor for getting a pair to him in a hurry.
Perhaps the new boots affected his kicking? Would a player wear new boots to a game? (Would have thought better to wear boots that have been worn in a little at training?) Maybe the boots were different to the ones he normally wears?
He seemed happy to give them away at games end, implying he wasn't happy with them.
I'm sure if he kicked 2 out of the 3 goals he missed then we'd be hailing him as a hero.
