Massive happenings in the bikes, on the last stage. Brabec had 3+ minutes on Luciano Benavides, with only a short 100 km special to go on the final stage. Brabec had actually increased his lead, with only 20 km to go.
... then Brabec made a navigation error 2km from the finish line. He lost the Dakar by 2 seconds!
