So he personally thinks it's a good decision but it also could be the worst decision in the world.
Ok. Talk about exaggeration and having a Bob both ways.
It is a worse decision than Hitler invading Poland?
Hitler conquered Poland in a few weeks and got the Russians involved and England to bow down.

Invading Greece before Russia a bigger 'worse decision'

Fair call. Russia oh dear. That was a poor decision!
What about Japan's decision that the US were bluffing about the A-bomb...
I think we could come up with quite a long list of decisions in world history worse than the Crows going to the Gold Coast for a training camp...

PS it kind of sounds like you hoped Hitler did better...

Maybe not his best choice of words but as if everyone else isn't thinking the same thing?

We know when players travel the flights, the hotel rooms, the food can all throw players out and they often get in travel routines to minimise this.

I think it's a bold decision to add a getaway before a prelim and I support it because I think it's challenging thinking and doing something smart but at the same time if they came out flat a lot of people would ask questions.

No that was a good decision. The bad one was going to war with Russia.

I am a huge fan of the crows decision. Let the players escape the pressure cooker environment of Adelaide for a few days and recharge/train.

Regardless of whether they win or not I think it's a brilliant call

Was Charlie Cameron the one that requested the team getaway to Queensland?

Seriously though, I don't understand the big deal around it..

”It could be the worst decision in history if they don’t fire in the preliminary final,” he told SEN Afternoons.
Worse than Operation Barbarossa? Worse than MacArthur crossing the Yalu River? Worse than Ronald Wayne selling his Apple shares in 1976 for $800?

TLDR; Shrill hyperbole much Dal?

He was saying this is how people will react if Adelaide happen to lose next week. If they win it will be the best decision ever, if they lose it will be the worst decision ever.

Dal Santo has instantly become just another media flog. Says a billion words but doesn't actually say anything. The worst part is this guy is absolutely everywhere.
Completely disagree.

Thoroughly enjoy listening to him on SEN when he's on. Certainly prefer him to a lot of other media personalities on tv and the airwaves alike

I think it's a great idea. The players get to take it easy and not just sit around home. Maybe a bit of team bonding.

I'm sure Collingwood did this in 1990. Has anyone else ever done it?

You had the exact same thread shut down and locked yesterday, and go and start an identical thread today. OP is a flog of the highest order. Clearly this fool is Rucci in disguise ??

Non-Victorian teams travel interstate every second week during the season. This is actually keeping to the routine
