Thing with Morris is nothing is fake, he is true tough not fake tough, he has true passion not fake passion, have seen it first hand numerous times he does not fake it with fans (especially kids) like some players do, he will go above and beyond for them without hesitation. You can tell after all this time he still savours every moment he has to live the life of an AFL footballer while much more talented players take it for granted and fall by the wayside. One of our greats for this club in so many ways.

Damian Barrett trying to suck up to Dale Morris in his Sliding Doors article? Probably afraid that Dale will make a bench press out of him!
‘IF you’re judging him on Brownlow votes, THEN he's a bust. One vote from 249 matches. But when it's Dale Morris, it just doesn't matter nor properly reflect the amazing impact he has had since working his way onto the Bulldogs' list as a rookie for the 2005 season. And quite possibly the best bloke to play AFL in that timeframe.’
‘Possibly’?????

People often overlook the great spoil on Franklin moments before the great tackle. It was fair and perfect, then he went to feel his broken back. Looked up and saw Franklin with the footy and brought him down with ‘that’ tackle, whoa!
There’s that great photo of Tom Boyd kicking his super goal with Lance and Dale in the background on the turf.

Amazing career from humble beginnings to lifting a premiership cup. Has remained humble throughout. Incredible dedication to fitness and preparation too. Ability to play through and/or return from injuries is legendary.

Quickly dubbed "The Glove" because he was so tight on his opponent. "The Condom" would've been more apt ... but I guess it's a family entertainment.
