One massive hang over this morning, head pounding but I'd do it all again

How fitting that Moz and Moyd will go out on their career with a premiership medal

When I'm in the old folks' home waxing lyrical to my grandkids about how good Dale Morris was and how he played the whole finals series in the famous 2016 year with a broken back I bet the little shits won't believe me.

Well done Moz. Superhuman efforts are the norm for you mate.

Seeing him and Boyd celebrate makes me a bit sad one bloke couldn't be there: love you Crossy. Wish you were there to celebrate with your mates

Cross was in the rooms and at the post-game function.

My memory may be off, but I swear that this is the second time that Moz has played with a broken back. Can anyone else recall the first time? I'm sure it has happened before.
You're right. It was the famous 2009 prelim against the saints. If we had been victorious there was severe doubt he would have played in the GF. After his efforts on Saturday I'm not so sure.

Does anyone here know how to make statues?

This. I don't know how to begin a kickstarter campaign or how much bronze statues go for these days, but I would contribute.

I think we need 4 statues out the front of Whitten oval, the one that's already there, plus Charlie Sutton, Luke Beveridge and Dale Morris.

Moz is an absolute gentleman, he has all the time in the world for supporters, he is so tough and yet fair on the ground, immaculate as a citizen. He will always be one of my all time favourites, sitting next to Granty and Johno.

Dale Morris is a true champion. Relentless, dogged in defence, ruthless at the contest yet he always displays fair play with an incredible sense of sportsmanship that is lacking in today’s professional, comercialised environment. Every now and then you meet someone who makes you stop and think, I could be a better person if I followed this blokes lead. He is one, Chris Grant is another. It has been a privilege for me to watch these blokes as I grew from a young kid to an adult.
Dale Morris is a terrific human being who displays integrity, grit and resilience. He will be sorely missed and I am thankful that I got to see him play. He is another champion of the bulldogs, up there w Grant, Boyd and Johnno. In years to come, I will tell my girls that I had the pleasure and privilege to watch.

Thanks Dale, you’re a star mate. Good luck w the recovery.

I hope he gets a lap of honour at our first match (in the back of a Merc Ute)

Great player great bloke

Can never forget him running down Buddy in the GF last qrt with a broken back (FFS)

Then again he may get a LARS and the resurrection may happen

Was great to see him get back on the park again, thanks for everything mate and all the best for the future. No need to put yourself through all that rehab another time, you've got nothing else that you have to prove to anybody.
