Simon Goodwin is pretty happy with his swish new custom made Adidas boots.
But there is a very serious side to the colour of his latest footwear.
Both Goodwin and Andrew McLeod will wear the brand new blue Adidas boots next Saturday night against Collingwood in support of ProstateSA and to help raise awareness of the most common form of cancer in men after skin cancer.
Members and supporters are asked to show their support for this vital awareness campaign by buying a blue ProstateSA wristband or wearing blue clothes to the match.
You can buy a wristband for just $3 from a volunteer at the entrance to AAMI Stadium, a food outlet inside the stadium or from CROWmania during the week.
All funds raised from the sale of wristbands will help with prostate cancer awareness, support programs and research.
By purchasing a bottle of Powerade at the match you will also be supporting ProstateSA, with $1 donated from the sale of each Powerade sold.
The South Australian Toyota dealers have agreed to donate $200 per Crows tackle during the Collingwood match to ProstateSA so the Cancer Council South Australia will be gunning for Marty Mattner and Scott Thompson to bring down the opposition.
Toyota will also supply 10,000 free "Tackle Prostate Cancer" blue flags that members and supporters can collect from the gate as they enter the ground.
The bright blue ribbon symbol of ProstateSA will also colour AAMI Stadium - from specially painted blue goal squares - through to umpires dressed in blue for the first and only time ever in an AFL game.
Collingwood's Dale Thomas and Paul Licuria will also don custom made blue Adidas boots to show their support.
Thanks to the SANFL, AFL, Toyota, Coca-Cola and the EJ Whitten Foundation for their support.
