Can't but all I can say is its from a very good source. Was 100% accurate re his ankle problems and what had happened etc. These things are always hard from a context point of view, ie did he mean if I decide to leave or I am leaving and this is where I am likely to go.

Agree with this. I spoke with a mate a couple of weeks ago and he said if Thomas leaves, Carlton are a real chance of getting him. Watch this space.
