What happens on the field ends up off the field via tv and social media so it's a really stupid argument.

And the bottom line is abusing umpires is the number 1 reason why people don't umpire.

So until heroes like you are prepared to umpire the games, suck it up.

And why aren't umpires allowed to let off steam, by calling Daisy Thomas a pretentious prick whose team is ******* ****. Perhaps he could ask Brendan Bolton when he reckons he'll get the sack on the way off the field while he's at it.
What happens on the field is on the field - the fact it’s televised proves this is only a public relations issue. The AFL is petrified of being called racist, sexist and all the rest, thus the rush to give these joke fines. You don’t mind, but this stuff, just like Israel Folau’s treatment, only alienates an already frustrated viewership. It’s why players don’t say anything and the brand is now so bland. No characters, no flair. Only outrage.

Why would you go at a boundary umpire though? They aint even the problem
There is a growing group of b/umps who throw the ball back into play illegally. At point of actually putting the ball back into play, we have them turning and facing the players contesting the throw in. One of the easiest basics of umpiring is throwing the ball back into play and we have jokers changing the whole simple action of it .Who on earth has been teaching them that?

Calling an ump a cheat strikes at the integrity of the game

No issue if he is found guilty that he misses weeks because of it.

Unless he of course he can justify his comments in fact or indeed there is some further context to it
Just cant call them cheats.. There's a myriad of other things to say but not cheat
