Andy Dalton has targeted the Cowboys' top-three receivers almost evenly this season.
Amari Cooper has the slight target edge with Dalton under center, drawing 56 targets. Michael Gallup, meanwhile, has 53 targets, and CeeDee Lamb has 54. Dalton's adjusted yards per attempt when targeting Cooper and Gallup has been almost identical. Dalton has provided a major fantasy boost for Gallup, who was the odd man out when Dak Prescott was lighting the league aflame in the season's first six weeks

ESPN's Chris Mortensen reports the Cowboys will give OC Kellen Moore a contract extension.
Moore interviewed for the Boise State head coaching job but opted to stay with the Cowboys. A long-term agreement should be announced shortly. It's a big win for Dak Prescott and the passing game as Moore played an integral role in the Cowboys' scoring explosion in recent seasons. Moore is one of the NFL's premiere young coaches on the offensive side of the ball. It won't be a surprise if Moore gets NFL head coaching interviews in the next couple of seasons.

NFL head coaching interviews....lol

Deserving end to the season.

Yep. Could see it coming from that first NY drive. Absolutely pathetic. Worst game in some time and makes you wonder if they actually wanted to win. Glad they didn’t though the 3 game winning streak ****ed a really good draft pick.

At least a top 10 pick. Hopefully we can pick up a decent defensive player.

Cowboys VP Stephen Jones said the organization is "obviously very committed" to signing Dak Prescott to a long-term deal.
Prescott suffered a gruesome compound fracture in Week 5, but that appears to be a non-issue for his long-term status with the team. Jones confirmed as much, stating he would "love" to have Andy Dalton back, but "at the end of the day, and Andy knows this, this is Dak’s football team." Jerry Jones mentioned waiting to see how the cap shakes out in 2021 before getting Prescott under contract, but deadlines have historically made deals happen in Dallas. Prescott's side previously turned down the Jones' offer of $33-$35 million annually with $100 million guaranteed — negotiation points that have likely increased since he last took the field.

Only in Dallas could a QB suffer such a big injury and ownership end up paying out more than what the QB wanted last off-season to keep him. Odds on Jerry folds like a cheap tent after seeing what the Boys offense looked like without Dak.

Looks like we hired Dan Quinn as DC. Led a team that is infamous for blowing double digit leads. Ehhhhh.

Yeah hard to get excited about that appointment. The legion of boom would have made even the most mediocre DC look like a genius.
