He got played by GWS into continually talking up Carlton’s chances so that Essendon would pay what GWS wanted. He’s still trying to do it even after the trade period is finished so he doesn’t look too stupid.

The funny part is whenever Hutchy wants to raise it Damo deflects, deflects, deflects, but still happy to take potshots in his articles and radio gigs.

Looks like Simon Lethlean and Damo relationship heading the same way.
