I'm pretty sure that a lot of Australian test cricketers would have had incidents throwing gear around etc. after bring dismissed.

And I'm sure it wouldn't change selectors minds.

Non issue IMO
This was a little more than throwing your bat at your kit, from my understnading (and i could be wrong) it went on for a bit and involved physical damage to the rooms which the SACA had to pay to fix. Once you tolerate it, twice you have a talk, but three times before the end of November and something needs to be done.

Playing a school match, I came in at No 3 (can't remember why - everyone else must have been sick:)). After facing 4 balls I realised the opposition was total rubbish and there were runs there for the taking. Time to cash in. Then next ball, I decided to play a big drive, changed my mind, thought about playing a sweep etc - ended up popping it straight to midwicket. I was so disgusted (with myself) I chucked the bat away, did a full teapot, raised eyes to the heavens - total drama queen:eek: . Got a severe bake from the school sports master, and was dropped next week (rightly so).

The two guys who batted after me (not as good as me) wound up 70* and 110*. No, I have never made a century in my life. One day I'll forget it..................

Physical damage to the dressing rooms??? As opposed to verbal or psychological damage to the dressing rooms?

Apparently he gave his teammates a massive spray, which was the deal-breaker.

and to think not too long ago he was taking a hat trick against the lankans.

watched the hat trick replay last night. jesus, tubby taylor ruined the moment with "university of NSW!!". DC's a south aussie now you knob!

But he's originally from NSW and played at Uni of NSW

true. but taylor didnt mention any other teams DC played/plays for. mentioning his district team is irrelevant.

if say watson makes a ton, would taylor mention tasmania/qld? nope, just nsw

Haha I remember I was in Year 10 and bowling my offies to two well set batsmen.

Big top edge and square leg dropped it. Fair enough, we all drop catches. I was frustrated but oh well.

The single got the big hitter on strike and I told the square leg to push back to the boundary. All the way back. I bowled, and he top edged it out to deep square. Straight to the fielder. Well, where he should have been. He had remained 10 metres off the rope and it landed behind him and bounced for four.

Twas the end of the over. I threw my hat, my sunnies, and the ball at the guy as he ran in.
The big question is did he catch any of the ball, hat or sunnies... otherwise he is 0-from-5 in two balls.

I was a fast bowler in year 9, wasn't too bad at it but I was Glenn Maxwell with less patience at the crease.

I came in at 8 or 9 and vaguely remember it as us having it in the bag if we batted patiently.

First ball, I went for the tonk and got a gigantic top edge that was flying to the slips. Instead of running I started shouting jibberish at the fielder insanely and he dropped the catch.

Got suspended for a game for that. Probably not in the spirit of the game, but probably not against the rules strictly speaking.

Another time I was warned for stepping over the crease into the 'danger zone' or whatever after my run up. The next two balls I purposely ran forward and belly flopped on to the pitch after the delivery. Didn't get suspended, but the coach had a word with the umpire and I became 12th man for the day, bringing out water bottles instead of playing.

Needless to say, I bowl spin now. My mates still bring up little events even though they were silly teenager things.

Luckily I didn't trash any dressing rooms as I doubt young me would have had any sort of Dan Christian money to throw around.
