Apparently Sydney officials 'fell off their chairs' when they heard Hannebury was elevated to the leadership group.

Lethlean had to come out today and defend their decision.

That's what Purple said last week , try to keep up.
Lethlean didn't defend anything. What he said was that he'd love to hear which ones fell of their chairs, given that Hannebery was Vice Captain at Sydney , and that he was very sure that Purple wouldn't name his source, which was a polite way of suggesting that purple made it up.

Good on you for repeating Purple's bullshit a week after he said it. You are probably now on his Xmas card list.

Hit a nerve did it?

You don't think it's a bit weird that he would be the Vice Captain at Sydney for the past three seasons, yet their club officials would "fall off their chairs" when he was added to Saints leadership group?

The quote is most likely made up; SaintsSeptember was just calling you out for repeating nonsense like it's some cold-hard fact.

It's an example of the self-perpetuating circle of rubbish that is increasingly being presented to the football public. Goes something like this:

Step 1. Someone starts a thread here containing between 0 and 100% fact.

Step 2. Robbo, Purple, Tom Whatisname, Sam Who-Just-Got-Sacked and various other football "journalists" fire up Bigfooty on their laptops several times a day because it provides them more information than they have the ability to obtain otherwise. Get very excited when they see this type of thread.

Step 3. They scan for the "can confirm 100% true" post and when they find it, they run with the story via their sad little media outlets, their desperation to seem relevant dripping from every pore.

Step 4. Some gullible Bigfooty posters come here and post what they heard from the Step 3 source. Days after the discussion has been done to death.

Yesterday i literally heard it from the Horses mouth. ( Longmire on the radio ).
He did not fall off his chair, and suggested he would have been surprised if Hannebery HADN'T been put in StKilda's leadership group, which is kind of a slap in the face to our other players, but still.

Can comfirm 100% true

How good are the Swans when it comes to trading......

Last year they offload Murray

And this year Hannebery lol

I don’t know why teams still trade with them tbh

Hawks used to do similar, offloading guys right before they had public issues with mental health.

The same officials that recruited buddy?

The thing I love about this forum is the supporters who get so shitty and uptight when one of their players is talked shit about, are also the same supporters who like posts digging the boots into someone else from another club.

Essendon, Bulldogs fans are especially prone to this. Very very strange.

I haven't read any of the posts in any of this thread (except of the last post).

But I know for a fact for two things:

1. When Buddy first moved to Sydney, a parked car was hit by a drunk/drugged driver when they were both on a bender (the car was a JEEP, and his missus was given a free JEEP due to being an Ambassador for the brand). But from the suppressed Police Report given to JEEP, Dan was the driver, Buddy was in the passenger seat.

2. Also when Buddy first moved to Sydney, they (Buddy & Dan) had quite the afternoon at the Sydney Opera House Bar, that Dan got kicked out around 3pm on a Sunday afternoon. He was very agitated, incoherent, and aggressive. We got a summary of the Police report because of one of the people who was there with him worked for a company where I was at and privy to this information (in relation to a brand/company mentioned above).

Not saying he is the same person now, but facts speak for themselves. And the above is FACT.

The Sydney Swans confirmed that their $10 million star recruit was involved in the crash, was alone at the time and walked away unharmed.

'Franklin was the only person involved in the accident. He was not carrying any passengers and there were no passengers in any of the other vehicles involved. No one was injured in the accident,' the statement read.
