What a game Swanny played today. Showed everyone he's still got it.

fair dinkum, this much maligned swanny could play as a permanent, stay at home forward for the next 5 years, not once did i notice him getting in clokes way or vice versa.

Still has his explosive first few steps and ridiculous core strength. Was a game winner yesterday.

The move up forward might prolong his career if anything, extremely hard to tackle and has innate goal sense.

One of the few match-ups yesterday where I'll barrack for the Pies so it was good to see :D

Agreed, still needs a personality transplant though

He's got a dry, sarcastic sense of humour and is clearly quite intelligent.
I didn't like him at first, but he's definitely growing on me.

I'm a pies fan and have admittd that Swan has been a one way player the last few seasons.

It's my opinion and I stand by it.

He just doesn't chase as hard as he did without the ball.

With that said, never said he was a bad player.
I've always said he is better suited in the forward 50, because he does still have amazing ball reading skills, elite acceleration with the ball, can break through tackles with his burst and girth. And best of all he is make great decisions and great plays with the ball.

I hope he becomes full time forward 50 player as it helps Collingwood's structure.

His Anzac Day performance is testament to his offensive skills and talent. Great to watch.

Seeems to have got is burst of speed back- just puts on the jets and off he goes-like Judd in his prime.

To kick 4 goals in a rleatively low scoring game- including the one to ice the win- is an incredible effort.

Also love that he is not your typical cliche spouting player- he is his own man- and jeez it's refreshing to hear him speak- funny bugger, but repsectful when needed- like speech after game yesterday.

Reminds me a bit of warnie- bascially is a larrikin who loves hanging out with his mates and family and sees football as a means to an end- rtaher than the be all and end all.

Sadly, the way recruiting is going, I reckon Swanny may be the last of the genuine 'larrikins'.
