Single handedly got us the 2 points today.

Absolute star.

We talked about not having a leader to stand up when required, he stood up today while the team was lagging.

Take a good hard look Josh Fraser, you might learn a thing or two, maybe even get a heart.

Swan - all heart.
Fraser - none.

This is the discrepancy in our team that we have to remedy heading into the break.

Exactly right he and Thomas single handely kept us in it, really missed Dids and Ball.

I thought Dick was great today when the we really needed a goal.

Just love the way he goes about it, isn't the prettiest but damn he does everything brilliantly :)

couldn't agree more, swan was brialliant, worked himself to exhaustion, thomas is so impressive to watch live and josh fraser was just plain embarrasing
he got beaten by miller in the ruck for F*(#s sake and he single handedly cost us a draw
he just watched jolly jog to 25m out and take an uncontested mark and then casually walked to the mark
he had leeroy, jolly, beams and sidebottom all stand in the forward 50 and just stare at him with their arms out in disbelief

Dane Swan, well he was Dane Swan like today, just another 38 possession match where he will struggle to get 1 brownlow vote from the backwards running w***ers.

He was great again, still our best player, still our most reliable player, and great to hear he finally admitted he was playing injured in the finals last year.

With Swan, Didak,Thomas and Pendles in the side we are near on unbeatable, problem was, one was missing today, and it showed.

Swanny's still going strong, that's all we need him to do.:thumbsu:

Love the man.

Saw him in LA terminal over the break with 3 of his non-footy mates, all of them had smashed in faces except Dane. Wonder if they were trying to steal the footy out of his bag.

Watched the game on tv and what can I say. Swanny is a gun gun gun. Would have to be my favourite player at the club. It used to be Pendles but Swanny just had a cracker of a game today. Love him to death

:thumbsu: I felt sorry for this kid today, he was exceptional, he busts his gut week in-week out, for what ??? Dane, daisy, pendles can hold their heads high Moloney had it all his way we really missed the smarts of Bally and Did's, Go Swanny you are a star!!

I love him but I wish he was a better kick.
I compare his kicking to Robert Harvey, in that it is efficient enough to hurt teams if he gets enough of it, which both he and Harvey do/did.

Swanny's big weakness seems to be goalkicking, at least recently, but if that's his biggest weakness, I can live with it, all it means he should be instructed to give the ball off to a better kick at every opportunity inside 50.

He's Swanny, we all love him, and he'll be Swanny for a good number of years to come.:thumbsu:

I've been a bit critical of Swanny lately due to his kicking, but he was unreal today.

I watched him closely (DT captain :)) and have never seen a man run like him. At one stage he ran 150 meters to get into the forward line to affect a contest with Jones tagging him. At the break in play, Jones was blowing a gale whilst Swanny ran off, I literally laughed.

While his kicking lets him down a little (today it was superb), he makes up fo it in every other aspect of his game.

Love him.

Inspirational workhorse + dreamteam legend :)
Tell me about it, had him as Captain this week.
Ablett gets something just over 100, Swanny hits 150, HUUUUGGGGGE.:D

His lazyness lead to a smother and direct goal to Melbourne in the last quarter! I don't care how he performed when the heat was off.
