The word (on D'land) is that Dangerfield may well be considering us - doubtful we could get a trade done with a new Adelaide coach I'd say though.

I take most of what's said on there with a large scoop of salt, but there are a couple of guys who sound fairly convincing (not saying it's done by a long way, just a possibility).

Rumours on Demonland might as well have been mined from the bottom of the galaxy's largest salt reserve, such is their dubiousness.

Was discussing Dangerfield on twitter today, and the possibility of him joining us at the Demons. Then I went to the movies, and afterwards I went to check my phone and suddenly got a notification that Dangerfield was now FOLLOWING ME on twitter. :D made my day.

Following the Demon Army nice and early? Welcome aboard? :P (dare to dream. danger dee!)

Adelaide still need a coach though. They have ten days to the start of the trade period. A number of candidates are still in contention this week - Dew, Ratten and Bolton. Unless they go left-field and appoint Bassett or go bizarro and appoint elsewhere.

I can see it happening because there won't be a coach in play, or any new coach is going to be so powerless (as Sanderson was) that they won't get a choice.

More it'll be a decision of the list manager rather than the coach. Adelaide coaches are weak anyway - look at the changeover (or lack thereof) in assistant coaches at the Crows when Sando was appointed. Any new coach has to get a grip on the list and shape it in their image, as well as deal with high expectations. No Crows coach has missed two consecutive finals series.

Trading Danger will quickly allow the new coach to stamp his authority on the Crows.
