Sounds like he is claiming to have talked with Dangerfield

Not saying i'm excited but I have a feeling these next few weeks will be hell for all of us, the thought of signing a big fish is reminiscent of when we grabbed Mitch Clark after 98% of people on here said it was a fantasy

Either way I like the way we are talking to a lot of players and sussing out where they stand or their intentions for 2015 and beyond.

We don't look as desperate as a few years ago and with a solid coaching line up and administration in place who knows maybe we can get someone to the club that wants to help rebuild, worked for guys like Vince and Dawes who came from finals contenders at the time.

There are some short memories around here. I seem to recall someone saying he would love to be a Melbourne player for lyf then duly taking the nuclear submarine loads of cash on offer to go somewhere else without a second thought.

What players say about clubs is pretty much irrelevant 99.99% of the time to me

There's that ****ing word again 'competitive'. I would like to see all references to MFC and 'competitive' be replaced with 'wipe that shitty grin off the other 17 teams faces'

If it's true that we're very hot on Angus Brayshaw you'd think we'll only trade one of those picks. Exciting stuff though, at the right price Dangerfield could lift us a good few ladder positions. Sides like St Kilda, Brisbane, WB and even GWS have a good number of players each who are in the top 100 in the comp (Riewoldt, Montagna, Rockliff, Hanley, Libba, Griffen, and so on). We have 1. Think of how good we could be with another.
