What do we expect? Our midfield coach is an ass clown. Camporeale couldn't coach his way out of a paper bag. It also doesn't help that our midfield is overrated by pretty much everybody inside and outside the club.

We just have no hard nuts that put the team mates first. They talk about helping him out and getting better yadda, yadda, yadda, but offer nothing. Players need to STFU and focus on doing their job. I couldn't give a shit what Dangerfield or anybody else thinks about the coaches. They have a vested interest and are in no position to speak about the club objectively.

We were saying it last year with thommo. We'll end up finding out that he's been playing with cracked ribs and they'll pose the question that it might not have been the best approach. We don't learn, we only think about the next game, never beyond.

Apart from Alex and baileys hissy fits, I thought every other poster implied or stated a clear conclusion. He needs to be rested or if he continues to play he needs more protection or to adapt his game to a less physically damaging form. Don't know how you managed to miss it.

Reading some of the tripe some people post, yes I do.

We have some wonderfully knowledgable posters about the game and the club itself and they are not the proportion of the demographic I am referring to.

We have some bat shit crazy posters who have no ****ing idea about the game, club or issues we are facing. Yes, I know that has just opened pandora box to criticise my own posting but I am more than happy to challenge anything I've posted. I don't need to post my posting CV.

But I can guarantee you - some have already turned but are just waiting for the right time to post disparaging stuff about him. Just as they have about VB, Sando, Sloane (very early stages but it's beginning) and the club overall. Some is justifiable but most is not.

Yeah, need to look at the causes rather than the symptoms.

Would be nice if they could publish the football department spending figures. Our coaching (including fitness) set up is appalling and is overseeing the stagnation and in some cases decline of our most talented players.

That's just your interpretation of my original statement. I never said anyone was, I said "watch" as in this is going to happen and this is the very begging of the process.

Answer this - no one bags VB now? He wasn't built up like some god like player only to be knocked down when he didn't reach the posters expectations? Of course he is. The very same us happening to Dangerfield and Sloane. Last November, he was being spoken about as the only option to become the next captain and over the course of the season - some posts have bagged the living daylight out if that decision.

It's happening and you either won't admit it, won't see it or are part of the problem infiltrating it onto this board. Bag me all you like, it doesn't change the fact this is at the very begging of becoming a problem.

We've been saying this since round 1 against Geelong. Here we are 3 months later in round 12... still saying the same damn thing.

Game one was the catalyst. He was banged up in that, got no help or protection. Same against Port, Sydney... and he's struggled to be fully fit since then

He needs to stop leaping into air to do those little handballs over the top. He's just opening himself up and he's been getting smashed in the ribs a couple of times per game. Can't remember him doing it in previous seasons.

It's a good move though to get a handball out of congestion. Don't know why nobody else does it

He needs to take a look at the way Dustin Martin plays. Since he's been in my dreamteam I've naturally been watching him closely and I have yet to see him go into a contest to get a ball. He reads the play. I'm not suggesting he should sit on the outside and do this but perhaps do it more often because at the moment he isn't having the impact on the game he could be.

Two hour twice a week. Have a coffee every Tuesday and Friday afternoon. Look at game tapes, concentrate on breaking the tag, creating less body contact and implementing more outside run.

Saying that - I don't know, this may happen already but it's not getting promoted. We don't seem to utilise the natural resources we already have.

Getting pummeled with no real support around the ball. After every contest where he gets slammed he can't back up quickly and is often in the hands of trainers. That's an issue. If they aren't going to give him a rest then they should just play him forward. Give Lyons more midfield time and bring M Crouch back in as well.
