I think Blease plays a bit more differently. Blease will only ever play an outside role at AFL IMO. Maybe with more bulk he'll maybe one day play inside but I wouldn't think so. Dangerfield has more ability to play as an inside mid and win the contested ball. Blease plays more like Brent Harvey, outside receiver who runs the lines, a very attacking minded player.
Dangerfield is very strong around the hips, thats what I like about him. Keeps his feet well. All of the GUN mids in the comp usually are very good at keeping their feet and strong around the hips- Goodes, Kerr, Judd, Bartel, Ablett, Junior Burger etc. If he can touch up on his disposal he'll be an absolute gun for us- it's just a tad inconsistent, nothing wrong with his penetration, it's just missing targets at times. Giving him number 32 shows how much the club rates him really.
