I find that amusing. Who are our key tall backman stocks who are btter or the eqaul of Bradshaw.

Solomon, McPhee, Bradley? Who else do we have?

Fletch is the only one for me who is better and Fletch has been a champion for us.

Fletcher, Mcphee >> Bradshaw

Soloman, Bradley => Bradshaw ( as defenders )

Not one of those players is the "size" of Bradshaw as he is built like a tank.
Fletcher speaks for himself, but doesnt play CHB, although i'm sure he could.
Mcphee is a running HBF, who is no where near the size of Bradshaw.
Soloman again is no where near the size of Bradshaw and is a shadow of his former self.
Bradley is tall but is skinnier than Bradshaw and at this stage cant play CHB, or many other positions atm.

I can't see him playin at Essendon!

But I could see him playin with the Bulldogs along with Aker

Id say you'd be pretty close to the money with the Doggies delisting McGuiness, Wells and Davidson...theyre going to need some talls and fast.

Yeah but on Fox Footy last night Eade said they had talked about getting Bradshaw but have decided against it

If we were to pick up Bradshaw, you could almost say goodbye to Johns. Bradshaw is a much better forward than he is a backman. Taking nothing away from his versatility, but he's much more damaging up forward. The fact that he hasnt always had to take the oppositions best defenders could make him a 4-5 year player. Mal Michael on the other hand..someone who's fit, strong and has a few years left in him would be more than handy for us down back. It would be the equivalent to the twin towers down back....may even release Fletch to run the ball out more often.

What runs on the board does Bradshaw have as CHB?

Size is one thing playing the position effectively is another.

I would hate to see Bradshaw at our club. We don't need a forward to convert to a defender.

Marginally better then Kent Kingsley as a forward and not any better then any of our defenders at the moment.

We have a number of people his size who are better or just as good.

Of the players you stated were his size, none of them are

Of the players you stated were as good if not better, Only Fletcher imo is correct, but he also doesnt play CHB.

He is in a totally different class to Kingsley, has him well and truely covered imo.

I don't pay enough attention to lions games to bring out what opponents he has beaten, but i can remember him playing some very good games at CHB.
He doesnt need to be converted, he knows how to play CHB already.

I was talking about bringing him to Essendon as a CHB via the PSD if there was no better talent available.
What is your answer to our CHB problems for next year?

If he were to come to Windy Hill he would be prodiminately a CHB. He'd have to strip off some weight and become very fit over summer.

I can't see him wanting to come back to Victoria as a CHB. This is why i can't see us picking him up.

Has Mal Michael made up his mind what his doing?

He hasnt actually come out and said anything, but Id be betting he wants out. Seems to be a bit coming out of Brissy lately. Wondering if its the beginning of an exodus from up there regarding senior players.
