I've known daniel for sometime by watching him play with my son at both Echuca and the Pioneers. Not only can Conners play football, But is very respectful to others and has a great attitude which will make him a good leader at any club that picks him up.

he slid because of his "off field" misdemeanours which clubs wanted to stay away from. A shame really, a talented footballer. Lets hope he gets himself right. Everitt the surprise.

Where do people spew this crap from, Connors and attitude yeh right, it has nothing to do with attitude and those espousing this theory obviously are hearing this second hand, as per usual.

Dont worry tiger supporters we have landed a beauty.

Some clubs seemed concerned with his beep test, perhaps that played into our hands, an easy correction in his running style and he will be a future leader at the RFC.

From memory Conner's slide is very similar to Ben Eckerman in 2004 where many on BigFooty thought he would be a chance to go to Collingwood at pick 10. In the end he went at pick 51 and was delisted two years later. I hope for the Tigers sake Conners has a more fulfilling career than Eckerman did.

Eckerman looked like a pretty good player until he was unfortunately KO'd and never appeared to be the same player again. Very unlucky, as he played some good games for Port.

Connors is an absolute steal at #58, and i believe he has what i takes to be a very good player at AFL level.

There must be some reason he fell so far other than pure coincidence. Very few 'top line footballers' slip into the late 50s. Still suprised he went as late as he did but, like many on this board, I know little or nothing compared with the AFL recruiters.

sorry dude, but thats an absolute load of crap!!!! top line players slip every year, hell u's have one of the best ever in james hird....
reasons that connors slipped were the obvious one that miller stated about his test times not being crash hot but clubs take into account who fits into thier line up the best and draft for thier needs.
connors could be one of those kids that is rated by all clubs but yet they have more important needs to address first therefore letting the odd player continue to slip...
clubs say they go for best availiable the whole way through the draft but they are lying sure they're first to picks may be best around then after that they take players that have the attributes that could be just wat they need.
