This is pessimistic I know, but my gut feel is he’s backing himself to be worth big money in 2029 and likely knows that with our list profile we won’t be able to afford what others can offer. It does seem he’s enjoying his time here and we look to be in for a good period over the next four years, but money talks.

The good news is with our list profile we should be in the window over that time and will be able to take full advantage of whatever he can offer.

Money doesn't talk that much in this league, otherwise the dregs of the league would find it easy to attract quality talent (and not bleed them).

Provide a quality environment and this sport has shown they will stay.

I think that was a set play. Fog and walker deliberately lead to the pocket to isolate both TT and Curtin. Pretty sure TT looks for Curtin and holds May out of the contest so Curtin can run and jump cos he has no sizeable opponent.

This kid has some serious footy IQ. Now he is also gaining confidence in himself to back himself in. Midfield talk for him is probably a bit premature yet. I'd keep his role exactly where it is right now and give him a licence to use his ability to read the play. Very exciting to watch.
