he will miss match sim time that he needs to adjust to a midfield transition8 weeks till round 1 so if theres no surgery involved he might not miss too much football
If its the 8 week timeline, he would technically be ready for R1 or 2, but as you say, he'd be behind in his overall preparation so may need an extra few weeks to get up to speedhe will miss match sim time that he needs to adjust to a midfield transition

wonder if they curtail this going forward. not a great look
Looking forward to Dan telling the media "It's all good, I have loose joints" Would be a soundbite for the agesAs someone who has dislocated his knee on multiple occasions, it could go two ways. If he dislocated it due to having loose ligaments, then he will most likely not have torn his ACL. If he has tight joints, there's more of a risk of of ligament and tendon damage. I dislocated one playing Rugby, went to hospital had it put back in place (extend and flip as I remember hearing) and was playing again two weeks later. But, I have loose joints.
Wrestlers don't kick footballs at training, so why do footballers do wrestling? In a wrestling drill…hmmm
Even if it was a 12 week injury, he will still play a significant part in the season and that alone changes things. An ACL and it a complete season goneThese injuries can vary greatly. Having done one myself it really depends on wether there was any cartilage damage done in the process. No damage and it’ll be a 6ish week injury. If there’s some cartilage issues the club will likely want to get it cleaned up surgically and will be out longer … 12+ id say
Dr Who?According to my John who dr level skills that’s a 4-5 day injury.
Does anyone know his history with the knees? Might not be his first experience with this which could actually be positiveEven if it was a 12 week injury, he will still play a significant part in the season and that alone changes things. An ACL and it a complete season gone
