I would like to see Curtin get some time in the middle for the rest of the season.

Not dramatic minutes, because I don't want to distract him from how beautifully he plays the wing right now. But perhaps the last 5 mins before the half and full time. Give him a solid taste over the last month against variable competition.

Having a point of difference mid to turn to in finals can be a momentum shifting chess piece when the games aren't on our terms. Which is bound to come up.

Levi has more competition. Crows haven't had many stand out players throughout the year maybe aside from Thilthorpe. Rankine and Dawson have had a lot of games where they've been relatively quiet or just stood up when they needed to. Been hard to pick BOG most of the year. This is why I don't think we'll feature much in AA. Dawson will do well in the Brownlow purely cos he's a midfielder and umpires will always favour them.

Yup!

Apart from the obvious reasons for elation in smashing little brother - it was awesome to see Curtin get valuable midfield time. Not just for his benefit, but it allowed Soligo and Dawson to not have as much time in the middle to keep them fresh for the Hawks.

We have also used Rankine sparingly over the last 5 weeks in the middle. Great management - as having him fresh for the finals will be massive.
