No idea, hopefully not too long

Mustve been a bad one for a tough nut like him to go to the bench

i didn't know that he got injured. did it happen late in the game?
Happened half way through the third quarter. I only realised it happened when I got home and watched the second half on the TV. Looks pretty bad and could be out for god knows how long. Big blow.

Time for Adkins or Chambers to step up and help out.

Woosha said in the after match press conference that it was "touch and go" whether Duncan would play next week.

Mind you, this is the bloke who ran off the WACA with a stuffed ACL joint, so it could be serious and Woosha's just not admitting it.

Could do without injuries, which are starting to pile up a bit. I thought Green, Carroll and Banfield's efforts were all the more meritorious for the lack of a Wirra to magically sweep up all around the backline. Hope he's back next week and Kerr out would be a big blow.

Yeah, we could certainly do with at least one of Kerr or Wirra to be right for the Melbourne game next weekend! Collica would also be nice...is Gaspar a chance?

I wouldn't expect too many changes this week. Johnson and Kerr for Gaspar and Wirra.
Collica might have to wait another week as its not Woosha's style to drop players who do the right thing (which makes Wooden's dropping even weirder).

Not the kind of help we need, neither of those guys are the in and under players that Kerr is. Need Banfield, Humm & possibly Read to cover the hard stuff that Kerr does while he is absent.

I think Wooden was a match-up thing. They only ever put one tag in the midfield and it was Chick on Pavlich. Having said that, they will be tempted to keep chick in the midfield now which will make it hard for Wooden to get back in...

I would like to see another youngster given a shot. Chuck Selwood in at CHF and see what he can do. Johnson didn't do much but the experience for him would have been good. Selwood played well this week with 17 kicks 3 handball 8 marks 4 goals 3 points. I think we will have our second away win next week when we play Melbourne.

Very sad to see Kerry go off injured. HOpefully not to long, but I DEFINETALY would not play him this weekend. We dont need to risk him that badly. I think we are more than capable of making up for his replacement.

If it were someone like Gardiner or Embley, were we are lacking talls then I might be inclined to risk them, but not Kerr. We've got plenty who can cover him.

Yeah your right but Banners and Read are already in the side so perhaps bringing back Humm or Wooden would be a good idea.

I'd rest Read next week. For once I agree with KJ about players who have been out of AFL doing well on comeback but pulling up sore and being flat the next week. That's how he called it with Gai Waterhouse and he's probably right.

It was interesting to hear Woosha say that Wirrapunda was ruled out Friday morning. I thought they would have had to declare that when the final 22 was submitted..

The difference being that Waterhouse hadn't been playing well before his inclusion whereas Ready was killing them week after week in the WAFL. I think he should be left in.

As for agreeing with KJ I wouldn't do that too often:p

Rest Phil Read Frods? He didn't do much wrong today I thought. If Kerr does sit next week out with injury I'd be tempted to put Wooden back into the side and split his half back flank/midfield role with Phil Read (who played very well in this role with East Fremantle for a month)

I don't know if we can reward Chambers or Adkins with an AFL game as their WAFL form this year has been mixed.

Read needs not to be rested. I thought he played well and slotted straight back into the side. With Kerr out, I would bring in Pinnochio or even Adkins, but I think the team will still do well without Kerr for a couple of weeks. he shall be missed, but I think the Coasters have players ready to step up if need be.

Yep even though I reckon Kerr will be missed i think we can cover him! I dont think dropping read is a good idea, he is a toughnut that we will need without Duncan in the team. I think Wooden should come in for Kerr, he has been playing alright and deserves a game!

injury

Woosha said last night that Duncan's injury is similar to Ben's and Ben didn't miss a game. I doubt whether Woosh will take any chances though - we have plenty of midfielders available. Maybe Callum (my adopted player) will come into the team??:)

On channel 2 news last night it showed his foot was either heavily strapped or in plaster and he was on crutches moving very slowly. I don't think we'll be seeing him this week...

... whereas Cousins was walking on the boundary within minutes of his injury and later returned to the field.

I agree, I don't think we're going to see Duncan out there this week.
