Our recruits have ben fantastic other than Raines! Xavier Clarke is injured. The reason we are not travelling well is because we have Brown, Black, Maguire, Drummond, Adcock, McGrath, Charman and Polkinghorne all sitting on the sidelines. Compare players from your team to them accurately and than take them out of your side and judge how your side would be going.

P.S. No troll just offended by some comments regarding my teams perfomance annd Voss because the reality is I think the Blues are playing some preety good foty and I will probally get murdered for saying this on my board but I don't mind the Blues. Probally my 3rd or 4th team.

Anyway cheers, oh and Malifice make sure you do everying I told you step by step;)

They cant have been that good considering your current ladder position.

Staker Ill give you. He suprised me a fair bit actually.

Take Brown out of your line up and it gets wobbly fast.

We alrready had a policy in the past of trading picks for recycled players and it bit us on the ass each time we did it.

Its going to bite you guys in the ass big time as well IMO.

i'd say the general's group of injured players is lesser in quality compared to that of lionshine.

not to mention the brisbane lot has missed a lot more consecutive games.
 
no thanks, he had his chance to come a cpl of yrs ago when he was outta contract and with juddy at the blues, I was keen on him a cpl of years ago cos I thought he would compliment our midfield well (despite poor discipline) but now he's injury prone and I just don't like his attitude, he's past it in my view

Voss went mad trade week bringing in recycled players ..those players should be standing up for you now considering your injury list ...apart from Staker who has been a good pickup theres only Fev ..who you paid too much for and now looks out of condition and disinterested .

*I would get infracted if i posted that on the Lions board, by their pedantic mods.

I'm sure Woosha......or whoever their coach will be would be rapt to get our dregs and a late pick in a thin draft for Kerr. :thumbsu:

Maybe we could trade Hampson to Brisbane for Black and Browne while we are at it........oh.......throw in Anderson, Johnson, Hadley and Wiggins to even it up.:thumbsu:
 
I would take him.

But not at the expense of one of our young guns. A second rounder would do it. 27 isn't old and he is serious quality.

Will never happen...

Malifice has told me a bit about Kerr and I'll take his word for it (just like he should've done with me about Thorp :D), the guy sounds like a complete tool, just the sort of person we don't want around the club. Good player, but that's detracted by the fact he's very injury and suspension prone.

Apart from Brown, Judd is better than any of them.

Black has played more games than Judd in 2010.

Clarke is a spud.

Polkinghorne isn't a patch on Yarran.

Bower, Mclean, Walker, Waite and Yarran would get a game with Brisbane on their ears.

More talented than Rockliff and Buchanan.

I think Power hasn't fired this year.
 
You take Kerr and we'll throw in Embley, Hansen and Lynch for free.
You should be able to get Cousins from Richmond too.

Premiership proven combination.
 
i think you over-rate your players a touch.

polkinghorne and rockliff (especially) are high quality young players.

yarran's a great future player, but he's a bit part player who is still fairly inconsistent.

indeed clarke is a spud but you ignored Maguire, Drummond, Adcock and McGrath. they've all been very good players this year when not injured. drummond is one of the best HBs in the game, maguire was up there as an AA CHB this year, Mcgrath was playing great footy out of the backline (one of their few good players in his last few games before injury) and adcock is as good as walker.

bower has been the biggest loss for you guys this year.

brisbane have lost most of their integral players. not only are they out, they're out at the same time. making it harder to cover for.

when staker's your mr fix, you're in trouble.

Im really not a fan of this guy.

I could add he also threw Cousins down some stairs at Club Bayview (after he started banging Ben's sister) and punched out Embley at the back of the Niche nightclub (possibly a good thing).

They guy has zero redeeming features.

You recruited both Clarke & Maguire knowing they were injury prone (Maguire was looked at by both Carlton & Hawthorn during the off-season but was considered too big a risk by both teams).

Charman would not be in your best 22 these days & was not a member of the team that won the first 4 games of the season. Black has missed 2 games for the season (not consecutively), with him missing the most recent game with a virus.

The loss of Brown, Drummond & Adcock certainly would hurt, but so does losing 3 of your KP options i.e. Bower, Walker & Waite.

Polkinghorne is a good young kid, who impresses me far more than Redden & Rich, but he has only played 32 games, so is not yet a key member of the Lions' team & he has more than adequately been covered for by Rockliff.

The reality is Voss adopted a now or never attitude, but went about it the wrong way in recruiting Clarke, Maguire, Raines & Buchanan (much like our recruiting in the late '90s & early '00s, when our administration overrated where our list was at) & burning Bradshaw in the process.

^^ probably the best explanation of embly, hansen and lynch I have ever heard...Kerr would have some currency with a different team though.

I think you're getting solid, big-bodied, vanilla AFL-ready kids confused with bucketloads of talent.......fallen for the judge them on 2 years instead of 10 trick :)

Maguire was our best player for the first 2 months of the season but what do you know he is injured now as well:rolleyes: Also Buchannan probally was our only player that tried against Richmond and the week before kicked 3 goals in a losing side!
