The "tackle" by Lovett-Murray in the last quarter center bounce didn't actually look like a tackle on replay. I actually think it was a deliberate elbow disguised as a tackle. They only showed one replay but it looked like he charged and flung his elbow into Kerr's side.
I may be wrong but would like to see it again and if it was an elbow then surely it's a strike that injured a player and should at least be assessed.
As far as the sling tackle goes, how's about a bit of consistancy, two months ago it would have been an instatnt report now not even a free

Haha in "the game" liftout from todays paper there was a little paragraph to the side of the main write up mentioning that centre bounce, it sounded like they were getting at some kind of conspiracy theory. it said something like "even though essendon were playing three ruckman, cox was licking his lips at the centre bounce against heath hocking convincingly winning the tap to kerr, but the bombers were ready for the set play and NLM laid a bone crunching tackle". Probably nothing in it, but when you look at it like that it sounds like they'd planned it out...
