Weekend Wrap and "Liked, Learned, Hated" right here -- How did tipping go?

I think you only drop one at a time. Experience counts for a lot.Dan McStay has had a very ordinary and disappointing start to the season. I would actually drop him and Membrey and bring in Steene and West.

I think he's got 2027 in his contract. 5 years rings a bell.Great guy. But I doubt we'll resign him at the end of the year.
He does, it's going to get uglyI think he's got 2027 in his contract. 5 years rings a bell.
Same with VossCould have signed Chol for half the price and gotten a better player
Could be the best genuine pack mark in the compChol has been a revelation - sticky hands and good goal sense.

Exactly and he turned it over a few more times. He was never near the ball and never contesting. Clearly his shoulder and knee is not right and without presence he is costing us. I’d be genuinely surprised if he plays the next game he was that bad. People having a go at Membrey but he did take some grabs and got a goal. He was chasing all night. I watched both of them from the stands and the body language was chalk and cheese. The damning moment for me was when he had a set shot on the 50 and looked to pass it off instead of going for it.
If your CHF doesn't want to take a set shot from 50m directly in front, then what’s the point?
Instead it resulted in a direct turnover and they went coast to coast for a goal.
What about the Corey Gault preaseason glory. It's been like waiting for ben Kinnear to come good, or even Brent Tuckey
When the term “potato”, gets given to you as a player, you know you are fried..had high hopes for this man but has failed to do anything right… another potato in our team..
Why is he cooked as a deep forward? If we decide to play small ball with Elliott JDG and Schultz deep , McStay might be able to fill the hit up to the wings half forward role he played at the Lions quite well.
His days as a deep forward seem cooked

The start of 2025, his contested marking was elite. He was accurate too.Agree, that was illuminating.
It just screamed loss of confidence and full of indecisiveness I thought.
I get the feeling that quite a lot more than most, Dan is a confidence player and that’s completely lacking at the moment.
I think also the Buller spray was symptomatic of the pressure he’s feeling.
A confident Dan would have just gone back and nailed that kick from 50.
Injury, loss of form, not picked over a clearly hobbled Brady Mihocek last year in Prelim, is still affecting him.
I love the big guy, just hope the right people can get around him, he still has a lot to offer when on song.
