If Rioli wants out, then I’d go all out for picks 10 & 11 for Rioli and enough later draft capital/points back to GC so they can pickup an academy player.

I love Daniel Rioli and would hate to lose him also but if Baker is going then i would accept we are going deep onto rebuild and it would be a 3-4 year process.

I do agree though with Rioli contracted i would not accept anything less than something like 10 + 22 etc. He is worth a lot more to the Suns than us, he would propel them into a real team with real chops, especially if Dusty joins them. Rowell, King, Anderson etc

never said it was a crime against humanity. But as a leader his selfish actions totally ****ed this club. saw it & i called it in real time for 3 years & we are now worse than i feared. Hopper & Taranto -wtf. Club was a golden goose 2019-20. We should in no way be in this situation right now.

I get martial situations can change, and its common. Stories like yours really suck and its just human life experiences. But he was the leader. He had the marketing girl in a work sanction hub basically "with him" while his married, much adored (which the club endorsed, clearly) & much used by himself to endorse his "brotherhood/family" ethos made me, personally, think he was a total fraud of a bloke. As soon as the Rance thing happened, the club changed a bit. By the end of 2020, it was completely over that culture. It peaked in 2019. Club lost its ethos i feel & that generally happens when the group lose faith/trust in the message or messenger.

No matter what we cannot lose Rioli, Bolton, Baker and Balta. These should be the only untouchables on our list.

Every young player drafted after this group has been average at best. This is the core of the footy club and age bracket who should also still be around after the rebuild. We start selling these guys and we'll be down in the gallows with the likes of North Melbourne for years.

I know this is out of order, but Baker for me other than a great team man is tradeable. We would get a very good deal for him.

He doesn't really have a place in the side that he is so much better than others at. He is not a midfielder, but can go through there. He is not really a small forward, does well enough there but nowhere near the top level small forwards. He is a good half back, but we have plenty of them and is a bit of a liability when the high ball comes in, which sides have done when they fancy the match up.

He is a great all round player and best 22 any day, but where's his best position.
