I'm lovin this bloke at the moment. Always have and always will but he is working his arse off and the rewards are so close it isn't funny. He knows it too.

I can see it again, I lost hope that he may not reach those heights, but he can and will.

I just get this feeling that pretty soon North are going to go from a hardened opposition to a very very dangerous side. The signs are there.

That was literally right in front of where I was sitting, and unfortunately, the umpire called that one correctly. The ball was out.

Ripper of a goal though. And he made it look so effortless.

Shit. So I was 2 rows behind you and I didn't see you? :o

Dunstall and Jakovich were talking about Kangas keeping Wellsy from wanting to return to WA on Foxtel pregame yesterday

Is there anything in this or just media crap:confused::confused::confused::confused:

Completely laughable. Dunstall and Jakovich have clearly never spoken with Wellsy. This bloke is so incredibly anchored in Melbourne, you get the impression he would rather give football away than be forced to play and live elsewhere.

Yeah I'm sure you're right but if I recall correctly, the Port players got nowhere near it so if it happened to have stayed in... ah forget it, doesn't matter.

It was a freak goal, no doubt, very unlucky because you could see him eyeing off the goals all night long. That decision on the wing to ping him for running too far was bull shit, he was going for home.

He had about a dozen touches in the 1st half but had absoultely no influence on the contest, till dean put him loose down back.
This boy could be the man that can take the club very far this season, just irks me that we play so much crap footy this season.

I love his form and he is doing it all

He's overtaken Boomer as the best at our club now.

Our boy Wellsy has finally arrived. How much courage did he show to come back from that knee injury and then getting an elbow to the head that required stitches!

Yep once he can clean up his kicking for goal he will be an absolute superstar.

Tonite put his body on the line 2/3 times
came off second best -went off dusted himself off
and was the quarter back when things were tight in the clutch!
Cant say enough about the boy his workrate has lifted this year!
For the smart ones on this board
named my latest black lab pup Wellsy after him!!
Back him every year for the b-low-will win it one year!!!
P.S-Not much luck my last dog got traded to the BLUES!
over + out

Wells is our best player. Harvey might play more ball tearing games and is probably more damaging because he kicks more goals, but as an overall footballer, with the footy and without it, brains, kicking depth and quality touch, Wells is no.1.

As soon as he starts putting on the scoreboard aswell, that's the level we always wanted him to reach. He has been sensational since returning from injury.
