Really are there just sad people coming on here bagging Spud. Sure I'll admit he stuffed us up but it was years ago move on now really we could bag a lot of coaches we've had but really there's no point all of you just move on for god's sake!!!

Does anybody believe there was a worse coach than Frawley?

I am willing to say he was better than Ken Judge who just looked like someone who would suck the enjoyment of the game right out of you.

But thats not saying much. Damian Drum certainly makes the Dud look a bit better.

IF you are old enough to remember the Paul Sproule era, you will realise that this guy was way better than Frawley.

Let's just say the club for once did get it right and offloaded the guy after one season.

I seriously doubted whether Sproule in actual fact went to the games.

And convinced Bernie Quinlan was plain terrible too! And probably Tim Watson. And add in Mark Price........apparently!

For me the Patterson era and the Sproule era just merge in together as an abyss of football.

Cant tell the eras apart.

Bloody awful era that.

It was just giving jobs to the boys really. couldnt see that the Hawks and Essendon were looking outside thier clubs and getting success. there was good reason I guess.

Still dont know why Bourke was sacked.

Weightman hated him and was close to leaving and Malthouse had a gutful of him in his last season.
